-- eleven years since the tragic attacks of September 11 but this weekend one of the largest wounded warrior fund raisers in this country.
Fund raiser that retraces the steps of an FD and -- hero who fell that day.
Just had its biggest year ever how they do that eleven years after.
This Gallagher explains -- Yeah it's one of the biggest 9/11 related events that just keeps growing they started out with 500 runners eleven years ago thirty.
Thousand runners yesterday I mean I know -- there but look at the pictures here.
They also have 75 related runs around the country you can see there the wounded warriors.
Led this run it's called the Stevens alert tunnel to towers because on 9/11 ciller who was in New York firefighter.
Off duty at the time grabbed his sixty pounds of -- and he ran from the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers.
In this race they remembered 342.
Other firefighters who died that day and listen.

Who gave them and then -- Imagine fundraising negative it has become huge.

Million dollars raised.
Going to various different charities but can you imagine 30000 I know you were there -- in America live did its part but wow.
What a tremendous turnout this year.
It was incredible and they weren't sure whether that get that kind of -- eleven years after that that they thought of the ten year anniversary they they would have more.

Went out for this run and what an amazing day that's ranked in inspiration.
It was I didn't know what to expect I don't really run it as a first -- -- a run.
