Headed from JFK to Miami had to be turned back around after lose seats were discovered on board.
And according to the New York Post it was revealed a third flight travelling from Colorado to Texas.
Had issues with lose seats on September 26.
And here's a transcript of one pilot reporting the unusual problem.
To air traffic control and I'm quoting I've got an unusual one for you during -- out rose passenger -- wrote twelve DE and -- Came loose out of the floor.
Passengers -- and unable to sit in the seats and quote.
Well luckily all jets did land without incident now the Federal Aviation Administration is investigating bill.
Well -- the airline know why this is happening and well there's a lot of explanations but certainly no concrete answers -- -- some pilots are saying that the maintenance issue may be the result.

AMR -- Actually filed for bankruptcy protection in November.
And then on Monday more than 200 pilots conducted what they called an informational picket in New York claiming.
That they've worked about a contract for six years now at the airline says that the seats were installed by American airlines' maintenance contractor is.
And that the issue does not seem to be tied to anyone facility -- group.
And they say in a statement and I'm quoting there could be a possible issue with a certain model of seats and how they fit into the tracking used.

But what ever the reason -- retired American pilot says passengers shouldn't worry listen.
