Welcome back to Denver we told you yesterday when we're in a -- Hoke county that women make a significant voting bloc here in Colorado higher than in some states.

And -- Polk County was 54% of the registered voters.

Mitt Romney has been trailing in that voting bloc in the recent poll trailing by eighteen points among female -- likely voters in the most recent.

Today we went out to find what women here in Colorado -- saying.

She sees some dark economic clouds on the horizon.

People -- afraid of its -- -- and lose benefits.

Maybe it's it's it's hard it's hard to.

Doing Nancy Collins out with her dog butter cup says ideally she wants a candidate who shares her family values.

But she says and economic issues trump everything else.

I don't like where we're hiring now and I don't agree with a lot of the policies and considered it happening here it's.

The economy is still kind of shaky and it wouldn't take a lot -- Can make that real unstable but I do feel like we've made a lot of progress over the last four years so -- factors -- for her but I do care about middle class.

And some people try and -- To make a living.

Got their own business so.

I don't want to see the rich getting richer and I'm not that kind of business woman.

And your mom of 33 teenagers and business person -- business person.

Debbie brown doesn't sugar -- she wants more women involved.

That's why she's involved as director of the Colorado women's alliance the group that defines itself.

As researching in advocating on issues that women care about most.

-- every women's issue is an birth control issue.

And I think there's a lot of us -- feel like the pandering in the scare tactics don't work for us that we want to focus on things like job creation.

Health care with -- access and issues that really affects women every day.

And do you think that that's getting through here in Colorado where women really make up a big.

Part of the voting yeah.

I think some of it's getting through I think a lot will be it decided on the debate night tomorrow night here DU.

But it's it's a tough one I think women are feeling scared and it whichever candidate makes the best case.

We'll win will win the women's vote.

Trying to inform women about financial issues.

Lot of women right now aren't.

Aren't paying attention to politics online every -- -- reading it they're not.

Doing the research they're you know I'm not watching the news all day -- like some other people -- And they get their information from a movie star on TV figured tagline from someone they like to watch a movie that says you have to vote this one particular way.

If your woman because -- person cares about.

Your rights and the secret items -- tune out and -- do with that person sent so I was saying instead of listening to attack line do you own research.

Leslie Ross owns an interior design business and she sees an economy that is hurting every day.

Aren't even close to what I do here just trying to find a job which makes me incredibly sad for them and I know there has to be hard.

This is not what they want to -- but just trying to find a job and it just it breaks my heart about I have to.
