There's some disturbing new.

Months leading up to the attack on our consulate that assault killed four Americans including our ambassador and according to some brand new documents.

Several US diplomats requested -- security prior to those attacks.

At that location.

There requests it's turning out were repeatedly -- -- South Carolina congressman -- -- is a member of the house committee and oversight and government reform and the House Judiciary Committee.

Congressman thank you for joining us.

-- -- good morning thank you for having me and I appreciate it and there will be an investigation any hearing on October 10 from what I understand what do we know so far about the requests that are made because I have seen a letter that was sent by.

Darrell -- and also explaining the actual dates of threats and attacks and then -- -- Pretty stunning how many there were before then.

It's a pattern -- it is impossible to ignore isn't it isn't it increasing -- -- of escalation of violence and apparently.

This administration.

But was the only group in the world that was not aware that this -- area was dangerous so.

We have a dichotomy.

Either they are so incompetent.

That they missed out on the intelligence of the escalating violence -- they knew all about it -- ignored repeated requests.

For increased security neither of those scenarios is particularly good for this administration you think you get to the bottom of that question and how.

Pull up a lot of promise you we will yes it may take twenty -- like you -- with fast and furious.

But when you have four dead Americans.

And you have an administration -- that would all all -- Sunday talk shows.

And blame this only video.

It did in fact set as a matter of fact it was not premeditated or pre planned.

You have another dichotomy -- they intentionally misled the American people and congress.

Or.

They are so negligent and reckless.

That they didn't bother get the facts before they tried to explain it I promise you we're going to get to the bottom of it.

How quickly that happens depends -- how cooperative this administration is what documents will you subpoena.

All of them if any thing it -- -- this is going to be but who live testimony some of this is going to be witness testimony some of us will be whistle -- work.

Testimony from people who were in Libya.

Who saw first hand these escalating episodes of violence.

Armed but it -- -- -- former prosecutor so the witnesses that I would like would be specifically people who alerted this administration.

This is a dangerous situation we need increased security.

And those requests for help we're denied it is interesting to note.

That the investigation.

That are supposed to tell us who's responsible.

-- for these murderers.

I'll bet that area so violent the FBI cannot go winning conduct their investigation right now so -- -- you to imagine.

This.

That this backdrop that the area is too dangerous for the FBI but it wasn't dangerous and -- for this administration to increase security.

-- I don't -- to get an -- -- dornin next week.

-- are we continue to give millions of dollars to Libya.

We can't even access the site for an investigation with the FBI on the ground where's that money going.

And why are we continued to give money to the country do we know where they're spending and it.

We don't which is why many of us.

Voted no on the most recent contaminating -- a continuing resolution.

They kept government going but are also included money for people.

-- like Libya who were not cooperating with this investigation.

And I can't tell you why we continue to give money to people who hate us -- art guarantee you they won't hate us for free.

So I don't know why we're paying them to do so.

It's thank you so much South Carolina congressman -- -- thanks for your insight today.

Yes ma'am how about hearing him a lot.
