New developments today -- an ongoing series of mechanical headaches for American Airlines right in the middle of a big contract deal.

The airline today says 48 of its Boeing 750 sevens are back in service after the jets were sidelined for inspection.

They were taken out of circulation following some recent scary incidents in which passengers seats became loose.
