New developments today -- an ongoing series of mechanical headaches for American Airlines right in the middle of a big contract deal.

The airline today says 48 of its Boeing 750 sevens are back in service after the jets were sidelined for inspection.

They were taken out of circulation following some recent scary incidents in which passengers seats became loose.

Mid flight.

Gallagher has more from our LA newsroom Trace.

So now they see it's been fixed -- and the airlines are actually back in negotiations with the pilot Schumer called the pilots' contract was tossed out by a bankruptcy judge and now the pilots would like contracts that are similar to united.

And delta and continental but if they don't get at the pilots have already voted on whether or not to strike but that.

Vote is being kept a secret.

The airline of course already accusing the pilots of a work slowdown calling in sick and calling in bogus repair issues right before they take off and through all this it's the passengers.

That are getting the short end of the stick and we look at this in just the past couple weeks two million.

American Airlines passengers have been -- that's because 13 of all Americans flights are late and a 150000.

Passengers.

Have had their flights canceled.

Then you -- the few dozen passengers though who by the way were in seats that were not Bolton did the airframe.

And two nights ago a faulty landing gear light forced the play to make an emergency landing in Dallas.

And the patient -- -- that the passengers had to brace for a crash landing flyers rights advocates say passengers should be furious.

And also saying these passengers should sue the airline.

The 750 sevens by the way had lose seats have all been checked out there's no sign of any sabotage.

But there is clearly signs.

Of sloppiness and a 35000 feet -- and they're both just as danger.

And now.

I sense -- Kelly's court in our near future on that although not today -- thank you.

Okay.
