Happy Friday and meteorologist Janice Dean taking a look at your temperatures across the southern plains in the southeast.

We -- a big old cold front that's gonna come visit us and sticking as far as south as the southern plains look at that 56 in Tulsa.

I -- the front.

Warm moist unstable air mass in ninety in Houston 87 in New Orleans 86 in Jackson as this front continues to moves southward and eastward.

Along with front is where we're gonna see some showers and to -- thunderstorms.

As well -- could see unsettled weather -- the day today.

Across Florida so there's were seeing those showers and thunderstorms associated with the cold front.

As it continues to move eastward there's -- future radar heading into Saturday you can see again the potential for showers and thunderstorms even.

A little bit of snow across portions of the Rockies so cold enough for some snow don't think we're gonna see some snow across the south.

But it is a little early for some of that cold air to be visiting us this far south have yourself a great day.
