That excuses excuses now supporters of president promising in the debate wasn't fair why well they would not let President Obama -- -- talent properly that was some people joining -- our political -- washing.

She -- correspondent Byron York Wesley Clark and McClatchy newspapers and Sam Young man from Reuters first -- -- Byron.

We think about.

As the teleprompters being unfair.

Well I think these innings in professional terms I think these are called low information voters.

This takes us I think obviously didn't.

How.

The debate is supposed to work although I do think -- it pointed to a serious issue with C.

With the debate which is that President Obama just didn't seem as well prepared.

As.

Is Mitt Romney did and of course have been a million teleprompter jokes about him during his his presidency we've seen him and -- events where you saw -- be speaking off the cuff and -- had these two teleprompter screens in front of and there's a lot of talk about he really has not taken the kind of tough challenging questions.

That he saved from from the press or from anybody else that he faced from Romney so even though -- -- and it's a joke he video it does point to a serious issue.

If you listen how was -- that some of his supporters of -- there are limits to him under the bus but some of the silly excuse is that they're doing for the sake.

You know there -- been more effective ways to silicon so lousy night.

I was gonna mention that -- a lot of the people that they talked to in the video sort of acknowledged that he had not had the best of nights and they are on their waited to see him have got a rally which I -- he's become let me be thought of some of the things that he should have said the night before that day.

Clearly I mean you know my feeling of hope that he can lead -- just landed in the design and that's my university okay go ahead.

Here's the thing governor Romney uses a teleprompter regularly Italian but it's it's been one of those things it's been sort of wrapped around the president has sort of indicative of but his inability to really sell the the last four years.

You know -- again I think I think I think I hit the nail on the head these are people who are grasping at straws looking for some way to excuse -- was just smile come -- measures a very mediocre night the president.

Pleasanton there to stay consistent change from these bad performance at the debate now to the jobs numbers -- at completely -- -- now.

At least to step off the hook on that are not well I think that's certainly what the Obama campaign would be hoping that the focus now turns to -- a better than expected jobs number of events.

But there's obviously two debates.

-- still to come and there's going to be a lot of pressure.

On vice president as well in next week's debate.

To sort of turn the focus back to the fact that they are able to defend their record -- -- to go after Romney on his plans.

How does great like that that number this morning.

It was -- coming.

That unemployment number -- or the Indians unemployment figures the single most important number and the campaign.

And you can talk about.

You know you six or you can talk about all of the people who are discouraged job seekers.

For the people who only have part time jobs but that figure which -- to be eight point 1% -- -- now seven point 8%.

That is a huge bit of luck for the present.

I've gotten some emails though from some of the president's detractors and comments -- -- now we're back to where we started with them and that there has been no price because that's where we started in January oh and I'm glad it's -- me.

It's down it's down it's a good number but that's what he's getting.

As well let's just part and parcel of what American they're gonna have to decide they you know they -- they're gonna have to decide.

Was it such as such -- enormous calamity that the president inherited it just getting us back to where we were is a success and shows signs of recovery.

Or is it not enough has -- been you know governor Romney is charged repeatedly insists it's a molasses -- recovery is just hadn't been fast it's really been recovery at all.

Getting us back where we were -- -- the White House is -- in a lot of ways an enormous victory considering where we work Republicans though but first tell you that it's.

Enough the Romney -- -- every time he opens his mouth 43.

Months of unemployment above 8% is too much.

You can't say -- him.

Yeah another gonna have to remake -- and change the numbers from you know the 44 months you can have that -- -- and I think it's a big psychological boost as well and being able to say that a 100% being analysts say at seven point 8% and it comes on the heels of a pretty decent.

-- rise in consumer confidence is although Romney viewers that we want is 8% are new standard for good economy so be making that argument.

Sam how.
