-- began with representatives from both sides of the aisle we've got RNC chairman -- preakness and also DNC chairwoman Debbie wasserman -- welcome Tia well.

And cheering for you this you are here with us in Washington we'll start with you -- On first off I -- talk about that we'll get to the tax cut but I want to talk about the unemployment numbers that came in for September 7 point 8%.

The lowest it's been since president Obama's been in office he said in the debate this week.

You can't turn back now America is moving in the right direction has he -- case for his policies that we're seeing recovery and we need to stick with them.

Yeah -- not at all I mean the first of -- We'll let the economists argue over these numbers and I know people arguing over how you could suddenly have almost 900000.

Jobs found.

You know a month before the election I'll let them argue about that.

It if it's all true and it all works out and it's not adjusted downward in a month I think it's great.

For the country to see improvement in the job market however.

The problem we have here -- you get the Democrats that are bragging about.

You know scoring field goals when we need touchdowns it's like you know your team getting clobbered this afternoon.

And celebrating because you you know you kick the field goal in the fourth quarter.

It's too little.

It's not where we need to be as a country and it's not.

It's not living up to the promises.

That Barack Obama made himself to the American people and you -- on Wednesday night.

He couldn't defend it I mean the empty chair showed up on Wednesday night because he didn't have a safe zone and he couldn't defend his record.

-- he continuously -- -- the Democrats have talked about a plan that governor Romney has they will lead.

In their estimation lead to a five trillion dollar tax cut in -- sighting outside independent bodies nonpartisan groups for that number.

The governor says that it will be offset by closing loopholes and making other changes tax reform is in major undertaking as -- -- congress -- in getting a lot done right now.

So how is he going to justify the cuts he's proposing to Wear -- those of revenue sources be made up.

Sure well -- -- even Stephanie Cutter admitted that it's it's not a five trillion dollar tax cut.

What we have is a 20% tax cut across the board no matter what income level you fall into.

But for those people at the higher levels of income -- governor Romney is proposing is closing some loopholes and deductions for those.

Individuals.

That will ultimately make the entire budget revenue neutral when we find out what those are well you know here's a thing minutes is -- -- -- and -- I know that you know this but.

When a budget is put together in a Budget Committee puts forward a budget they don't put forward to the Ways and Means Committee budget -- every single loop hole every single deduction every single.

They have a couple numbers and -- say here's the top number here's the bottom number.

You go to the Ways and Means Committee you sit down at a table like this with a whole bunch of people.

And you figure out how do you put together a tax cut across the board and make sure that you close enough loopholes for the people at the higher levels.

Pay more and you make it revenue from and that's how this how the process works and it and here's a deal.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz the Democrats they know this stuff too that they know exactly what I'm saying but for the sake of continuing this -- About a five trillion dollar tax cut they're just gonna keep saying it over and over and over and -- -- the proof is in the planning.

The president can defend himself on Wednesday.

-- kind enough to come the next day.

Mean like like a high -- -- the next day with here when their comeback lines in your zinger is you know -- bring your game I'm game day we'll bring it the next day she.

Among the comeback lines from the president and those supporting him is that Mitt Romney lied in that debate that we forced.

It's like you know the the the -- every fact checker and America's been having fun with Barack Obama you know will then the few things he did say on Wednesday night.

Many of them are proven to be lies themselves and and so the next day they get together and say well let's call him a liar.

-- if it is ridiculous the only person that came prepared.

And honored the American people that we're watching that -- and expected.

An honest serious debate was governor around in the president.

Not just disappointed.

The people that were waiting for him actually come prepared I think I've found the whole thing to be offensive and I think a lot of people -- -- chairman they -- folks will have not only the chance to see the VP contenders week but two more of them had had mashup.

So thank you very much for stopping -- today we appreciate your time thing.
