Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Maria -- -- in the -- itching weather center with your forecast for the northwest.

An -- across portions of the north of the midwest and we are enjoying some cool weather out across both areas we had a strong cold front dip on -- -- from Canada into portions.

Other northern plains over the weekend but temperatures have moderated a little bit so -- -- slightly -- below its typical this time of the year.

Again not as bad as we had to deal with over the weekend some of you guys look up to temperatures in that's when -- Over the weekend fifty -- behind -- 63 in Rapid City and -- one over North -- widespread high temperatures in the seventies across California up -- portions of Oregon and Washington so much more pleasant today.

And -- you're actually dealing with last week across the -- of California with high temperatures.

Well above average so again a little bit better now -- feeling more like the month of October we do still have some lingering rain showers -- across portions of the northern plains.

And some of that coming on heavier at times across eastern portions of the state of Montana and also across eastern parts.

Other state of North Dakota and -- take a look at featuring area -- notice that we could actually see a little bit more snowfall.

As this next system continues in -- -- southward and bringing some much cooler air.

With it as well us we -- as a leader on -- -- across Montana and North Dakota and also northern parts Minnesota.

But generally a -- trend as we can end here Tuesday and -- -- Wednesday SS systems slowly -- on eastward.

An ad in the northern plains otherwise the northwest seeing play for today for Tuesday and even as we head into your Wednesday.
