Coming up so stay tuned to that but first we're gonna start.

But another inspiring story.

Increasing public awareness.

Of the needs and living conditions of our soldiers as we know their living conditions often.

Could certainly had to use some help and here's a guy who's been helping them in in them in a very big way Marty horn is the president of any soldier.

Ink and he joins me now to talk to us about how you have facilitated this organization and essentially.

Delivers care items to soldiers deployed under dangerous conditions and you're increasing the network of soldiers available to distribute these care items.

To undertake these strategic problems these projects rather to promote and facilitate public involvement public awareness.

First of all -- -- you just tell me how.

Soldier ink was found -- and and tell us about Brian horn.

-- and thank you to have your own show.

Brian and I joined the army and he was 1000.

Paratroopers drop in Northern Iraq at the -- -- He was excellent -- -- or walk on through those listeners -- Nablus.

My wife -- army retired army my son being army.

We usually -- -- it seems so we were sending them about a package today.

Five months into the war he was able to call us and asked for more.

I thought he was kidding this you know dad this is for the guys don't get at all.

I knew exactly what he meant so we always just one phone call we devised the units sold her web site.

And of course it's just grown cents.

-- -- -- -- -- We've had billions -- -- -- -- its millions of supporters worldwide helping actually over two million troops are over nine years.

-- and means so the response that you've gotten has probably been.

Extreme.

Gratitude and we not only from the soldiers that you're actually sending these packages to but I would imagine the parents the loved ones.

Who know that someone like you a perfect stranger to their son or daughter.

It is helping them out and such a huge way as a parent I know that I just want to give you a big hug.

Well thank you but I have to be perfectly honest we are information.

People.

It's not she really it's that people around the world not just see Americans though we -- not -- some countries that use our website to help our troops.

And they're the ones that go on -- little cites fund the troops they want to supporter.

Read -- the troops say they get the address from us.

By email almost immediately.

Well if everything works and then they send us support themselves to you troops so.

Everybody can thank people around the world -- our troops are coming home standing -- In LA and also thanks to Brian because he brought this need to light absolutely you know what was going on -- was a marine sergeant.

I'm also partner and and we do things very differently than there are many many -- -- -- out there of course.

But we do things different because of what I've been through what I know it I want -- spend much on.

We do things differently and who won a -- stuff.

Taking care of people because of what they need not just -- what we've got available.

So then you tell me so you have this website -- any soldier dot com.

And if I'm interested I go on there and what do I do.

But it's very -- that we have we are let's get started right on the home page here that's for just about everybody has so limited amounts of time.

And expects a web -- would be you know ten -- we're sorry we're not we're tons of information.

And -- your listeners who the spoke to the Marines who.

Can't stand being called soldiers and I learned that first hand.

We are also any -- dot com and he's still -- dot com and airman and any coast Guardsmen dot com.

They can go on and you weren't so it's really move the troops Saturday.

And they select.

-- -- Baltic news so let's get started from the home first.

You have served -- with this web site in the end this creation.

Over two million troops stationed in many locations.

I mean where -- organization today what are your wishes for the future I mean.

It seems that you have accomplished so much we -- not done.

No we're not even close is done -- -- kind of surprise.

This -- started to help my son and his guys.

Well it exploded on the first overseas can't -- -- I had were up from Australia believe or not.

And it just -- from -- We because lose all the strange things that are happening throughout the world we a few months ago we dropped.

The requirement to -- -- being well what are known as combat arms.

To any any American soldier or sailor airman or marine.

That is deployed outside the United States they can be -- -- they can be right anywhere in the world.

And day are all they have to do is fill out an application that it -- on our website also.

-- -- get approved and it goes all all handled by a human.

Are currently there Brian my sons of one of those -- and -- It is in danger posted on the web site and they end our troops get.

How.

I just want to read a couple of reactions from our live shot just does it mean -- directly to you -- there.

101.

-- getting the stuff -- the field is huge.

For morale and big kudos to Marty for setting up this vital service.

Exclamation point David Larsen writes I am a vet of Iraq I have many friends that are still serving I think it is great that people work to help the service members.

Those are just two comments within a couple seconds that came in just by the mere mention of this organization that you and your son are are to be.

Credited for even -- you credit all the donors tell you what what goes into these packages.

It depends.

And that's one of the ways we're very different when the war started there was a very -- to your -- And none standard list I don't know what the troops needed you know my baby wipes and good bar so and so for -- But.

As the war and troops have progressed of course are what they're challenged senior aides are ought to front.

So that's one reason we do as we do we asked the troops to tell us what they need.

And as an example I got an email -- years ago from Syria are we so would you please tell people are to stop sending me so.

I just tossed overboard several cases -- hotel also hopes.

Well my feeling -- -- to a slow -- Fisher happy much cleaner made Reba.

-- it was a good example of why waste your time and money sending stuff to troops -- don't need it.

People around the world.

That have meetings and many of them do.

Even this limited means love to send stuff.

There's no requirements and -- our our web site the troops are mostly asking for letters just a show of support.

But Americans haven't supporters around the world -- to send things and that's why -- reaction troops were busy news.

It's usually ones that you need.

And that way you kill two birds -- ones are.

-- Marty -- thank you so much for coming on to tell us your story and he is the president of any soldier.

Ink we appreciate you coming on and again the web site for all those watching at home.

Any soldier dot com you go on there and you fill out application and it's pretty self explanatory.

And there are so many troops that are that are very grateful to any help that you can give.

A little herb big thank you so much -- for talking to us today and good luck to you and your son.

We'll thank you very much for us any time -- -- it.
