I'm Ellen Ratner and today I have -- -- for you there's a lot of bashing not to go on in terms of the media.

And I think I want to start out -- the fact that you know Al Gore.

Was talking about Denver's high elevation he was clearly joking.

The media.

Did not like if they took -- as as serious going on but what's so interesting about what Al Gore did.

Is he was joking and of course we had our own Bill O'Reilly.

The other night to going with Jon Stewart bill -- Reilly made several points.

He got some applause and it was interesting.

Today actually on the Diane -- -- she was saying.

All well was this because this was a younger audience was this because.

People sort of felt that he was joking and it was.

And it was a light hearted well may -- but the fact is Bill O'Reilly was able to make his points because he did so with direct list.

He did so with humor.

And I he actually brought along some props which are not allowed in regular debates.

But Bill O'Reilly was able to make his points very directly because he did so with a sense of humor.

And I think sometimes the media misses that very serious points can be done with a sense a humor.

It was too bad that Diane green today.

Could not understand where Bill O'Reilly was coming from.

In in need -- Saturday night debate that he had with Jon Stewart.

And of course -- Al Gore you know -- talked about earlier last week.

With the bias -- Al Gore making the point.

The fact is is that humor.

Can have a very serious effect and our very own -- -- Reilly of Fox News Channel carried it out very well last Saturday night.

Some other kinds of things going on in terms of bias bashing.

And that is there and the -- governor Romney out bounds you know it's true that the media wants some kind of course race.

And originally they said -- this race is over it's done.

There is all of this serious.

Kind of dubbed Obama's definitely going to -- look at his state by state polls and all that kind of -- well.

We have the debate last Wednesday night.

And of course.

The governor Romney got a huge a big debate to a bounce on this and now the media is sort of saying.

Well this is this is -- is not it's not all over.

And again the media's trying to turn this into -- -- race when this is a very serious.

Act kind of with a serious issues getting talked about.

And again their peoples like governor Chris Christie who said.

That the debate would come back but that was not -- would be a comeback for governor Romney but it was not terribly well covered.

A before.

The before the debate and of course afterwards all -- -- -- some in the media are are quoting Chris Christie but nobody did much of bad.

Before hand.

And oh really I think and I'm and I -- -- knows I'm a liberal that the media really.

Does -- and on its face because of what we had seen.

With out with what happen in the post debate coverage.

And -- so I think that it's very clear that the media has not covered this very fairly at all they had not covered the race fairly at all.

And actually on Jon Scott show.

-- where we talk about about media.

-- on our on our watch on Saturdays and Sundays.

-- Jon Scott has -- out.

That when you look at the debates and -- and the debate coverage and what is happening with these polls that very often they are not taking into account.

Then me and the number of people that they actually interview to get these numbers and that's -- what why some of the polling is actually biased as well.

And and I think that that is that's our -- -- for today.
