Has turned into quite something else tonight and -- not a full gusher of strong poll numbers yet for the Republican nominee.

Things are moving his direction across the country.

Mitt Romney now has taken a two point lead over the president and the latest Gallup poll of likely voters 49%.

To 47%.

And for the first time since last October.

Romney leads in the real clear politics average of polls the national -- the numbers 48 to 47 point three.
