We are back with his Fox News alert stunning new revelations in the investigation into the terror attacks in -- -- The State Department is now saying that there was never any protest in fact outside that facility.

Putting them directly at odds with the reports from the White House and that's how we start a brand new hour of America's Newsroom good daddy -- -- morning everybody I'm Martha.

Accounting -- Bill Hemmer good morning to you at home we are also learning about 200.

And thirty security incidents reported in Ben Ghazi over the past twelve months.

Ambassador Chris Stevens and he was one of four Americans killed in that attack.

-- apparently scared for his life -- request for more security denied.

All the surfacing the same day as a high profile congressional hearing.

Is about to get under way.

The way this is a tangled web and joining us now chief intelligence correspondent Catherine Herridge live in Washington -- captured.

Very important hearing this morning what are we expecting to -- Well thank you Martha good morning we will hear from four witnesses who -- the State Department or military's point of contact for security at the constant and Ghazi.

Investigators with the committee obtaining these -- -- that showed 230 security related incidents.

In Libya from June 2011 until two months before the murder of four Americans.

These incidents go well beyond the attempted assassination in -- -- the British ambassador in June.

To include gunfights the murder of foreign nationals as well as -- ED attack on the US consulate in June.

An email written by one of today's witnesses says the 230 incidents paid a clear picture that security was -- curious it reads in part quote.

Not an environment where -- should be directed to quote -- operations and reduce security resources in accordance with an artificial timetable.

Pushed on whether security was pulled back before the attack the State Department spokeswoman yesterday deflected.

I think I'm not going to go into all of these kinds of timeline details as to what we had when and where.

You know some of those things I'm guessing will be covered tomorrow in the open hearing.

But again these are all pieces that we are pulling together now so I'm not gonna get into the back and forth on all that from -- -- now.

So the bottom live from the State Department is that we're gonna get a lot of these very specific details.

At the hearing.

Just under two hours from now -- you know we started to read some of what lieutenant colonel wood had to this day.

So captain I would imagine based on -- background briefing that we're learning that we may hear some explosive remarks in there today.

Will we will but I I just want to provide some context the main headline -- that background briefing late last night was that there was no demonstration at the consulate in Ben Ghazi.

Before the strike but here at fox we -- first report on September 17.

Six days after the attack that there was no demonstration.

And that it came without warning and this one piece of data was a critical detail.

This severely undercut the administration's narrative that this was somehow it demonstration.

Inspired by -- what they -- Cairo.

That spun out of control of the second element of that briefing that's important.

Is that you cannot have listened to those details and reached any other conclusion.

That it was a terrorist attack that was premeditated.

And that it came in two ways first of the consulate.

And then at that and X that was used by the intelligence services for -- reasons so many questions about how the State Department.

And the White House could have been on such different tracks when they came out to talk about.

This in the press that finally -- -- could be gearing up for a major concentration -- confrontation rather.
