Convincing performance.

Why does the Romney campaign not fire back I mean talk about.

I don't know half truths or -- -- or -- you know you can go back to the president's promise that he would keep unemployment below 8% and lo and behold.

Well that sort of happened recently four years later.

Yeah I think that two to a large degree I think that the Romney campaign realizes that that.

President Obama's campaign they they they do look desperate right now and a lot of these attacks -- I don't think are effective and I think that they realize it and you know when somebody is doing something that is.

You know when -- what what when your opponent is doing something that is hurting himself.

You know you don't you don't need to step in the way in and out and stop that from happening you just kind of let him continue her hurting himself you know -- pointed out something interesting yesterday which was that Romney's.

-- -- during the -- seem to carry himself as a CEO who is making a presentation to a borders something -- a command of the facts and the figures and so forth.

Barack Obama he was more the lecturer of the college professor that he's always been.

Yeah it was really amazing -- to see that that that dynamic.

And you're right you -- Mitt Romney was not trying to be popular he was not trying to be.

You know Cooley wasn't trying to be a guy that you wanted to have a beer with at the bar or anything like that he was the adult in the room and he was very serious.

And it was a terrific performance if you're -- you know four years ago.

But he was sort of also the adult in the room he was talking about.
