Hello there I'm meteorologist Janice Dean taking a look at the northwest the northern plains and -- your temperatures still warm in Medford.

In Seattle finally getting some relief.

With some moisture working its way into this -- been very dry all summer long.

49 in Billings fifty -- -- for eighty in Salt Lake City.

Satellite radar imagery showing -- -- some showers and some thunderstorms even some mountain snow.

For the northern plains and northern tier here we're also watching a system across Southern California that's gonna work its way across the Rockies as well.

Over the next 24 to 48 hours of future radar.

As you can see we do you have some moisture working its way into the northwest that's going to be.

Much needed relief for these areas that are very dry it -- wildfires all summer into the fall season -- you also see that system that's gonna work its way in from the southwest.

Will be across this region Friday -- Saturday -- a very active West Coast eventually the system is gonna work its way.

Into the central.

US so a lot to talk about as we head into the weekend having suffered --
