-- former senior advisor and deputy chief of staff to president George W.

Bush and a Fox News contributor wanna get your take on that advice from the president he said let Joseph be Joseph -- that kind of dangerous well it depends who shows up it's -- ways that -- -- Meister who says we're gonna they're gonna push all that could change or is that the guy who showed up in 2008.

At the debate with Sarah Palin did a very good job the Democrats are saying he's that you're not going to see the fun.

That the on -- and -- the loose cannon.

Joseph Biden tonight that he's going to be very much on message you expect that I would expect that because look he's got a -- he has more experience in presidential debates than anybody else running this year.

He's run for president himself has been vice president.

He's done these debates before and he'll be disciplined will -- discipline has really required to.

For the moment.

What will be interesting will be to see whether he is discipline like he's been in the last several days and be in the attack dog.

Or we will he be disciplined and sketchy in a positive and optimistic agenda for the -- for the future of the country under the leadership of Barack Obama and Joseph Biden.

And in in in that the last several days since the debate he's been on the attack and on both.

Romney tax cut on the -- to the on the on the budget plan on entitlement reform and giving it every -- is suggesting that that might be LEB is -- and Paul Ryan has mastered the nation's budget you know on Capitol Hill member of the Budget Committee and so forth he he is no slouch when it comes to debating facts and figures.

Yeah well it there's a difference though between a congressional debate.

And a committee hearing and being on the national stage and this will be his first time in a debate on the national stage in this kind of venue so.

But you know he is the years the underdog but -- -- as you -- very bright cat I think one thing is when we get into foreign affairs tonight we might.

CA see Paul -- doing really -- well in an area we're not expected I know that in my opinion my humble opinion nobody takes apart poll numbers better than you do and you have some interesting conclusions from some of these poll numbers that are out.

Since the first debate 53%.

Of Americans are still saying.

The economy's in trouble and and President Obama hasn't -- much -- yeah look president Obama's weaknesses is that people look at what he's done the last four years.

And two out of every three Americans think these things that he has done -- not helped or have proactively hurt the economy and this remains as -- get challenged.

What the interesting thing about the last week is is we're seeing a pretty significant bounce if you take a look at the national polls.

Real clear politics average on the the the afternoon of the debate.

Children Obama lead of three point 1% as of last night at 5 o'clock it was one point 1%.

For -- which means a four point 2% swing and that's not the end of what we're likely to see because.

Remember we had the debate on a Thursday.

We had.

Monday it was Columbus Day holiday pollster a lot of pollsters try to get most of their interviewing in -- before the -- or -- afterwards I would suspect by tomorrow.

We're likely to see maybe if 85 points went from there we weren't -- where we are there is a lot of conventional wisdom in politics in the conventional wisdom I've been hearing throughout this long campaign season is that both sides you know their bases were pretty much decided and that there were very few persuade able voters out there.

Whose minds could be changed it seems like a lot of people change their minds and well five point swing is big and you're right we've had we've had a relatively small number of undecideds fortified to 6%.

In these polls on the other hand hidden inside each -- camp is probably an equal or slightly larger number 45678%.

Of the electorate.

Who are weakly linked to their choice for Obama today but I could be someplace else tomorrow -- for Romney today I could be somewhere else tomorrow.

And that's what this debate has been so important because Romney brought his a game at a point where those people are trying to figure out -- they're going to be for.

And as a result he's had a pretty significant bounce and I suspect it's gonna it's gonna continue it -- it has been suggested that the president might have been wise to have a few more hard hitting interviews rather then you know People Magazine and Entertainment Tonight in the months leading up to it helps you know it really does she like Kevin -- -- interviews because it helps to bring your -- game the other thing is.

Somebody should take away is basketball said you're not get in now that court at lake Las Vegas your.

You gotta stay in the -- and really work -- this is a problem with an incumbent and incumbent always has -- thinks I'm ready.

And and reality got to go back to school -- Karl Rove.

Fox News contributor always interesting to talk to Karl thank thank you --
