Well the showdown is set to go tonight here in Danville Kentucky.

This is the stage where Vice President Biden and congressman Paul Ryan will go toe to -- Four years ago some said Joseph Biden was careful not to be too aggressive in his match up with Governor Sarah Palin.

But today there is word of a very different plan they are saying the gloves will be off.

The 2008 debate in Saint Louis was one of the most watched ever.

For the vice presidential candidates seventy million TV viewers today and here's a look back at some of the most memorable moments.

-- -- -- -- -- -- The Castro Brothers others who are dangerous dictators are ones that Barack Obama has said.

He would be willing to meet with without preconditions being met first the -- is.

Drill baby girl and also we hear all across in this country in our rallies because people are so hungry for those domestic sources of energy to be tapped into.

I may not answer the questions the way that either the moderator you want to hear but I'm gonna talk straight to the American people and let him know my track record also.

And it's so obvious that I'm that -- Washington outsider in.

Someone just not used to the way you guys operate because here you voted for the war and now you oppose the war here.

One who says you know as so many politicians do I was for it before I was against it or vice Versa.

And.

That -- was then Governor Sarah Palin and she joins me now right now live -- of course the 2008 vice presidential candidate on the GOP ticket governor.

Welcome back to the -- great to see it's fun to look at those clips.

I'm sure it's more fun for you now four years removed from it that it was the morning.

Back to that -- four years ago as you are preparing.

To go up against Joseph Biden what -- you being told to expect about his debate -- Well first -- I've never seen clips of a debate I've never watched any of those rewrite from four years ago from the acceptance -- to that ticket debater -- -- -- goes on you move forward and I don't rehash the past but -- I remember being handed about a week before the debate as -- five by eight.

And cards about it a bit this -- and full of facts and figures that had to do with John McCain's voting record.

And and campaign operatives wanted me to.

-- many many many in fact all of those.

Faxon and pieces of data so that I would my message would coincide with John McCain's at the end of the day though that -- VP.

Debater has just got to be themselves they have to stand on their own record.

And what it is that they would propose in cooperation with the top of the ticket the presidential nominee.

And doesn't just tell the truth and that is what Americans are gonna -- tonight is just hear candid -- and the truth.

From Joseph Biden and from all right and.

Now -- in these vice presidential debates in these presidential debates of course.

-- try to prepare you before you go out there and they try to beat up when you more than you'll likely get beat up on when you actually go out there that's -- they've been doing and a -- right side and also on the democratic side.

They are having Ted Olson the former solicitor general play Joseph Biden as Paul Ryan prepares them for tonight's debates.

Who played Joseph Biden when you're getting ready to debate him and and was the real Joseph Biden or the -- Joseph Biden offered to debate.

Remember that Randy shoot him and played Joseph Biden for at least one of our debate prep but exercises that I remember look at him staring down what -- Gonna be such a stinker in this debate prep because he was such a stinker in just hammering me left and right but that is good prep.

You don't and they -- I think it's going to be very very important for are trying to do what I attempted to do for years and that's try to coax out of Joseph Biden.

-- his rationale for all the flip flops.

You know he had just come out of a primary season where he was beaten -- -- out of Barack Obama and the positions that Barack Obama had taken.

As a senator all those years and then the minute that he was chosen for the VP a nomination on the Democrat ticket Joseph Biden all the sudden said that you know.

Barack Obama then with the smartest boy in a room -- that -- was that walking on water ice so wanted to understand what all the flip flops were in the positions that he had taken and from going from senator to VP nominee I hope that.

-- -- -- to coax that out of him because it's very important for the electorate to understand how politicians can change their mind their policies their principles they're foundational substance so quickly and -- she is on a dime according to politics not principle.

Do you think that.

Me either these men will be nervous tonight Joseph -- had some eighteen debates.

Under his belt -- in the in the and the recent election cycles because Christine is running for the democratic nomination didn't get a lot to Barack Obama.

But had a lot of debate so that the other democratic side in advance.

And all -- he's a seven term congressman but he this is really the first time you know on a national ticket as it was.

For used to tell us you think there will be nerves on either side.

I don't think so I think especially.

Joseph Biden decades and decades and decades probably longer than you've been -- -- he has been a part out of the political scene.

And I think you get kind of numb to.

What people are saying about which you end to US that point in terms of anything that -- gin up a nervousness I think Joseph Biden is badges like.

You know it's another day I think he's nervous tonight as Barack Obama -- he certainly wants to see the debate shift.

In terms of attention being deflected from his pork performances -- against his aloofness is disconnection.

That he really exuded.

It his own debate performance last.

We -- he wants to see out.

That public start talking about something else and they won't talk about something else and that's the debate results after tonight.

Wanted to ask you about one other -- -- -- -- that is the Associated Press is getting some criticism this week for a photo they ran -- Mitt Romney.

He was he did a nice that you pulled over -- the side of the road and offered to do a photo opportunity with some young kids at a photographer.

Shot -- picture of him.

That is unflattering and looks ridiculous in the little girl they later clarified was just excited that the governor was gonna.

-- with them but obviously this photo suggest something else.

And they came out and apologize for the caption that came to this but not for the photo.

You yourself -- some they have when you're running where the AP chose to run a photo of your legs with young boys looking up that you look.

Do you think this is media bias or is it you know forgive -- -- mistake.

Alley cats media by -- is also some sexism when you consider what their response to Mitt Romney's photo isn't just to green and Associated Press they're jerks for having run that even with the caption I mean absolute jerks and -- -- have tried -- -- some people to view.

Mitt Romney by running this photo with conspiracy.

But when you consider people's result and their responses to what this picture -- I remember a whole lot of people get to wee weed up about.

The photos that were run of me four years ago including that.

Young man that looked like they were.

Looking at my legs -- my -- even.

It last night on Bill O'Reilly I saw that he did appear on this segment.

No he did -- -- sign that when it happened to -- York.

Maybe some other women over the years so I think that -- is still could kind of tell -- sign of some.

Little bit of sexism in our society that we really need to overcome so that we can -- move forward.

Eight got -- that you I -- as the mother of you know a young girl who went through a lot when you're running.

You -- feel for that for the little girl who is pictured there are now in a way that capture her parents and anticipate governor it's great to CO.

Take you so much for being here thinks.

Thank you so much.
