This suspect came to America with the sole purpose of carrying out of terrorist attack.
He went on the Internet looking for other -- -- in the US who would join him.
In a terror attack that might cripple.
The American financial system and he thought according to the FBI that he was assembling a 1000.
Pound bomb.
The FBI supplied him with one.
Allegedly thought were explosives and this morning the FBI.
Undercover officer met up -- this suspect.
They loaded a band with a thousand pound drove to lower Manhattan the suspect during this drive was assembling what he thought was a detonator.
And then they'd park the van in front of that federal bank downtown went to a hotel nearby.
And the suspect allegedly tried to detonate that thousand pound bomb with a cell phone and before -- did that -- he taped the statement.

Talk about his plans and his reason for trying to carry out this terror plot -- On its lower Manhattan again reckon you've covered so many these even follow what threats.
If it's amazing and I know stating the obvious how it always remains.
And I guess will always remain -- to target.
And the NYPD will tell you that New York City is still the number one terrorist terrorist target in the United States perhaps in the world.
And in fact they have counterterrorism units downtown the NYPD does and they were informed not to stop this -- it's very likely that.
Had they not know about this plot they still might try to stop this man because they may have thought it -- suspicious but they knew what was coming.
They avoided it the FB I was with the suspect the whole time and fortunately no one was in danger but.
You know according to the FBI if it hadn't been down that contacted this suspect he medical double people who could supply and with the proper explosives and perhaps -- be talking about.
