A look at the economy is affecting small businesses in our weekly series spotlight on small business today we're gonna talk to Bruce Jones he's joining -- he's the CEO.

Well you know I think we see it is improving from the point of view of our clients.
I think my typical Clyde is probably worth about a quarter billion dollars so we really haven't seen the economic downturn affect our business first -- But what is happening is that we're seeing a lot more interest I don't really know what to attribute that to.
But we expect to build quite a few more submarines next year as opposed to our production this year.
-- -- -- billion dollars does sound like Jon -- money that's her daughter I it's fairly thick and very and very specific clients how Bruce are you looking set to hire more people because you anticipate more business.
Well I think a lot depends on what happens with the race of the White House but I think for us.
Next year looks to be you know quite positive for growth.
We're developing a new submarine that is going to be able to take three passengers.
In a transparent pressure -- to the bottom of the ocean.
The deepest spot in the -- Challenger Deep of 111000 meters or 35800.
Feet.
And so we expect to sell a couple of those next year we already have the contracts in the works and so.
We will definitely be higher in some more specialist who assistance for the production of those -- -- -- So why is that the hiring plans maybe -- -- planning depends.

With the election woody -- watching for there.
Well you know I think that -- the issue for us really is that more regulation and more taxes are gonna make it difficult.
If if Obama's re elected.
You know we hire people we really like to keep them on.
You know for as long a period of time as we can we typically don't hire people seasonally.
And we don't hire skilled technicians and get them trained for those positions only to let him go.
So you know we're looking first through a positive.
Upbeat to the economy and and and less regulation.
And you know we have a very bright prospects I think for the future so we're excited about.
