That isn't fun clip and that is a clip from the movie that's what she said it coming out tomorrow.

A wonderful moment we're gonna talk about but more importantly right now we want to introduce you to.

A tell -- a little bit about this movie that's what she said and the wonderful cast.

Citizens.

So its stars and hanging shy and Marcia Dibona -- -- that clip and Alley shop cat too.

Was originally on her Arrested Development when she with a young girl and now I'm she's all grown up you have to could have put this movie is I down and dirty.

Comedic look act how.

Friendship can survive chronic sarcasm bizarre stranger danger and and explained -- Janet dangerous filled out OK so it fell into.

I don't.

It's a comedy yeah economy yet but it's really had added that a movie about friendship partly right and and when we talk about the friendship who more than I mean I think the three of them are best friends are just not as I am -- the two best friends to are played by Marcia and hand and down marsh is getting ready for his character -- -- getting ready -- -- -- -- And she wants her -- that.

There by her side too bad that they would be FF is having probably one of the worst it's been like okay and and they pick up this total stranger who had -- A bit of -- problem and -- -- -- -- -- okay what is this in the sex problem is like a sex addiction it's true she -- she she ET do certain things in the restroom just -- really leave a lot of the strategy I see okay and how does this project today how did this all come together when did you start.

Did you count these people in mind so long ago it started I was nine years ago that I did a play where Kelly overby who is also an actor and she wrote the script health and -- device within the play with us -- are all acting in it together.

Kelly wrote the script.

I directed at first on stage and then I said let's turn into a Thelma and let's keep -- on board as the lead.

And then we went about about six or seven years trying to raise the money to do it.

Does that work when house -- you have this great idea.

Everybody's on board you know just the right people to put in this thing yes you know so many people are out there that -- great ideas -- -- ideal casting their mind yet but it's not.

Easy even when you have connections like you obviously you've been is in so many things that we'll talk about -- but you obviously have the connections why does it take so long what are the hurdles that you have to go through.

Well obviously it's it can be expensive.

But I do have a production company gave -- three pictures and we had already produced two features on a micro budget.

I directed the first one and then I starred in and produce the second one person is called.

Twenty ninth and -- -- -- this week found that get all the festivals and we sold it we took the money from that we made our second one called ready okay.

And then that we sold that went to the festival's -- it.

Took the money reinvested -- fact I think you have to start small and build up and he also have to convince people to you know trust.

You with their money friends that we did we were lucky we had these investors who came on board and I certainly getting and -- an Alley I was went a long way towards getting money.

Now this film made its world premiere at the Sundance film -- in the apple is not quite.

Oh my god it was that the most amazing experience you know I mean getting that call that -- idea that is at Sundance I was screaming like I -- have all -- hey I mean it was that people I was standing on the street with my husband Michael Emerson.

Andrew is you know you might know him from -- -- -- person of interest.

And we're standing on the street in my producer called me to tell me that we got in finance and I started screaming so much that everyone stopped and stared at us.

Are you in London yeah take pictures with us the -- very back it up.

But anyway it was an amazing experience and that's where we you know -- -- -- and you also honored with two -- the film best film by a woman director and best actress.

At the national film festival the national -- yeah in the air and then we've gotten awards at film out San Diego and I'm actually going to -- the Jacksonville film -- festival on a couple of weeks I'm getting a women in -- more except.

I I did the whole movie is is all women there are no.

Speaking roles for -- -- well that's insisted his.

Very rare -- fear anger I wonder how often that timing is -- happened how much I mean they're there and there are herded it back.

I deliberately shot them a little out of focus myself and not that the -- up not for the women are higher and anyway against man it's just today is about.

Then he made about their friendship.

Today the -- that the movie takes place over is about them connecting with each other the way they top that by talking about their relationships with these and that's really -- yeah cool.

Now once now we want to talk about the opening here the premier is tomorrow yet as cinema village and that's down on an east twelfth streets of here in New York City.

I definitely anybody can go to this anyone can go we we start tomorrow.

And we'll probably run for over -- week if not more depending on ticket sales so we hope that people out.

And he -- you know it's hard to get people -- get out go see an Indy you know when people want to know the movie theater and see the bigger the bigger you know I -- action movies.

But -- I'm writing this whole campaign called the common that's what she said best.

And you get a group of your girlfriends or or diet plans or all of your pals.

And you make an evening -- -- it's just funny film it's it's ninety minutes it's really great to go and and how drinks have.

How dinner before you can go yeah it felt have a good time go out after and it's really working we've got a lot of people who are already buying tickets ahead -- time.

And going in groups what's your -- form -- promotion are you social media social media all over the -- -- I have a big Twitter following from because I'm on -- tonight as I have a lot of people who follow me from that and also the good wife.

Which I have a recurring role on so I'm trying to you you know tap into that bill -- audience.

And say hey I'm mostly doing this right for wearing this -- right now admits it's very very cool and yet very busy lady and let's talk about that because we want people to -- you.

-- your Twitter TW SS movie that's the -- -- at the movies Twitter and that's of course that's what she said.

And then your Twitter handle is what he's -- -- underscore Preston it's okay and also if -- you caught that she mentioned.

A part of -- resume right there if you do.

Watch true blood of people milieu as which character Arlene Arlene Charlie Fowler a different have to happen.

And also the good wife -- we -- that -- are you also on person of interest I am doing some episodes of -- -- I imagine your husband does that is why he's the he's the star of that show and I have a recurring on that sounds so finite when do you sleep.

I I haven't is -- much lately but he now these kind of things that keep me going actually -- minus people who love to be that the -- and creative.

All right well I think I'm gonna try this one by a movie tomorrow night I was really fun.

It looks really fun it is really -- I'm really fun a great castle any of the members of the cast.

Yeah around the end -- be there and Marshall will be there are -- pretty.

Well we'll hope and a screenwriter who's also in the fountain Kelly trivia yes okay that's what she said.
