-- governor good morning he's -- morning -- are -- -- we have a lot of experience in this debate stuff now this is the third and final round how does Mitt Romney go after this.

Well I think he has to go into it aggressively.

But he also has to make sure that the president answers the question that he really never got around -- -- in the last debate on Libya.

They got all into the words of what he used at the rose garden and what it meant that's not the issue.

The issue is that for almost three weeks the president his Press Secretary the secretary of state the ambassador.

All continue to spell out a narrative that was not true and they knew it wasn't true.

He's got to push back on that.

But bill I think he's got a -- one other thing he has to show that this is not just about been -- this is a pattern.

This administration has never called what happened at Fort Hood terrorism.

It is never accepted the fact that what happened in little -- for the shooting of -- soldier.

By -- a radicalized.

Young Islamic was terrorism.

And so he's got to push for the answer why can't this administration acknowledge what everyone that's that's and is using point and based on the first two debates.

It's quite likely these guys will pose these questions to one another yet again I mean -- that's what we saw this past week.

Well they they really mix it up the moderator.

Was more of a traffic cop but.

I think one of the problems that that that happened in that debate was she became a participate or not just -- moderator.

I think Bob Schieffer.

Will probably play it more the moderator role but it is also sort of senior status I think he may step in -- -- -- gentlemen.

Let's get back to the question and I try to inject itself.

Point you're making about Fort Hood in Little Rock -- -- -- you wonder whether or not you know and Americans remember that if they do not have to come back up again you know serves as a reminder but.

You talk about the you know how these two men are treating each other in this arena.

You you're number twelve years ago when when Al Gore got George Bush's space -- -- have that glance over here people talked about that for twelve years.

People argue that that's what decided the election on Tuesday night you had guys that there -- like sumo wrestlers compared to twelve years ago -- And the sad thing was it was supposed to be a town hall about the people in that room.

They were essentially.

I would say photo ops and props and they weren't really being utilized both candidates missed the opportunity.

To ignore the candidate that was opposing them.

And to speak very much to the heart of that person who asked the question which meant that they would have been speaking to the hearts of the American people watching -- -- they're saying you're saying that was mistake for both huge mistake.

Because this is not about fighting each other nobody cares that you can -- -- your opponent there in Iraq and what they wanna know is can you speak to me.

Can you look me in BI and can you talk to me about my concerns they were so busy fighting each other they weren't fighting for the audience.

I think that was a mistake and oh yeah you're arguing that have it.

The president or the governor -- that they would have been a clear winner I think so I think if they would -- sort of smiled and instead you know I will get to that.

But but just look straight don't walk over to the person asked the question.

Talk to that person intimately closely emotionally with pauses.

With a thoughtful way.

I think that would have contrast it with the more aggressive combative style of the other and it would have been a winning formula.

Your master communication like communication -- -- one look at the polling numbers from Gallup respected organization here governor.

They have Mitt Romney move it up a point -- again yesterday at 5245.

This is the only significant big poll that's widely respected that has the margin this -- here's a real clear politics average.

It's neck and neck just one point separates the two.

What explains Gallup what are you seeing what you hear.

Well the most significant thing about the Gallup poll is that it is a rolling poll which means they take -- ten day average.

So every every night they're adding to and taking what those numbers are.

If there's a seven point gap what it means is that the gap is even bigger over the past two or three nights.

And I think that's what one has to sort of just sort of set up and say my gosh.

That's showing a pretty big stretch -- and addressing a seven day rolling average but in that polling two of those days.
