You're joining us live from Los Angeles talking about some of the new releases this weekend for the debut of Alex cross in paranormal activity four.
How do you rank on the beat that tomato meter.
Bad.
Bad and a little rough rough weekend he it's a rough weekend -- the -- I first up is paranormal activity that's the fourth of the popular series.
Kind of found footage closed circuit TV.
Horror movies.
The first three did pretty well the tomato meter the first -- got a great score cycle and not so much -- the third what does.
You know for the most part the critics of like these and typically critics don't really like -- release.
This is kind of a standard.
Score for our horror movie it's in the twenties right now really low score definitely rotten the critics are saying.
You know they've really gone to the well one too many times here and probably best to just let this series fade away.
You know I whenever I see the commercials -- for these paranormal movies I know it's actually I'm one of those people I might -- not a huge fan.
Of these types of movies that I was -- that I want to change the channel off the commercials -- -- can.
Because I don't want nightmares you know later on but I it's it is even just from ads the ads that age you're right I mean -- this feels like this has been going on an awful long time.
But obviously people still must love it because there are people to go to the theaters.
On an Alex cross I saw that the previews for that on TV as well recently -- -- I couldn't help but wonder what I was watching the preview like.
Who is this guy -- why should I care I felt like I need a little more explanation.
As to who -- well so these.
-- -- -- These are based on a series divide dolls by James Patterson and the -- are really popular in fact.
We've seen these novels -- adapted to movies before.
With the character played by Morgan Freeman you might remember kiss the girls and and you reprise that character in a movie called along came a spider.
Right and you know the critics weren't wild about those -- Bruins did pretty well and you know Morgan Freeman played this character Alex cross.
Now -- the series is being -- booted with Tyler Perry in the lead role now this is not what his movies that he's directed based on when his stage shows.
This is him acting in somebody else's movie and on somebody -- to scrap.
The critics are wildly unimpressed here it's only 9% are made -- here at the moment it's a really that's a really low score.
It -- -- counts it's a really bad movie.
My personal feeling is that what they should have done here -- have Tyler Perry.
Dress up asthma.

Cop thriller that is the kind of movie that is somebody was to make a pilot out of this for a TV show wouldn't get picked up now that being said there are fans of Tyler Perry out there and apparently there's already a sequel in the works.
Wow look at that well as everything -- -- -- outfit we're gonna lose our time with you but really quick.
Anything worth going to see this week that's for.
Yes I would I would strongly recommend -- Ben Affleck you asked film -- the critics love that.
