OK got to get quickly to Cal Thomas now but stay with foreign policy -- is probably yes -- is hiding out in his bunker has always.

I have a cal all this he got the Ben -- attack -- -- I would I would be surprised it wasn't the first subject today we'll see we'll Bob Schieffer has in mind though he's a moderate to foot tonight.

How do you think this will play out tonight given the we had so many arguments about whether moderate -- on the job -- centrist senator.

Well I've known Bob Schieffer 40 golly I don't know forty years he's.

Excellent journalist -- -- -- toward the left but I think he's going to be better than any of the influence frankly and I think you're quite right what others subject could be the opening subject.

Other than have been Garcia taxes front page everywhere it's everywhere when everybody is talking about.

But it's interesting now and that we're seeing apparently some push back by the administration in the media.

They've been feeding stories in the newspapers which contradict what -- -- known on the record.

And is suspected.

Elsewhere fox of course -- a tremendous special report Rivera on the weekend.

Tying all of these things together and I think proving beyond a shadow of the -- -- But al-Qaeda or al-Qaeda affiliates -- al-Qaeda sympathizers.

Were involved and yet we get these headlines today in the ER Los Angeles Times for example.

Unquote US -- evidence doesn't show planning in Libya attack.

No evidence found -- -- -- -- -- in Libya attack and that was the only times the other one was the Washington Post.

There's only one problem of those headlines the accounts don't add up the LA LA times -- quote -- -- -- And -- -- -- had a participation.

But that's contradicted by numerous other accounts and by the -- latest version.

The post reporting that intelligence quote suggests the attack was spontaneous even -- -- -- militants with ties to al-Qaeda.

And the post -- the violence and thank god it is to have involved militias with ties to al-Qaeda and North Africa so.

Here's what we're faced with either be attacked and get involved terrorist ties to al-Qaeda or didn't -- -- on which report you read.

So -- if you were if you governor Romney tonight and you had a -- as long as the first question is Oscar by the moderate -- -- and you have a chance to lead the discussion a little bit with the president what's the first thing was the first question you would put.

To President Obama all -- Ghazi.

Well -- the first question is so why are there are so many.

Different.

Pieces of information coming out contradictory.

Now that horse they blame the intelligence people are trying to throw them under the bus to use a cliche.

Then they made other excuses I mean this is either flat out incompetence.

In which the right would be right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing.

Or it is and I believe -- both by the way or awards for second.

Which is that the entire appeal to the middle east of Bally in the Cairo speech by the president.

The the incredible sucked up by so much of the media.

Which believe that if we just give them what we wanted to say nice things you don't insult improper -- They're going to be nice to us -- -- want to kill Jews and Christians and everybody who doesn't agree with them.

I think it is a colossal failure a colossal failure.

Are -- the Obama administration's policy toward the Middle East.

And as Mitt Romney has said and I think quite rightly.

We have displayed weakness toward -- and weakness only encourages this kind of violence.

All right Cal Thomas thank you very much indeed I -- enjoy watching the debate from -- bunker that's how I can't go slowly on FOX News Watch shot.

This weekend and many -- Saturdays and Sundays three to -- PM eastern.

Hosted by John Scott we gotta take what.
