And how how -- you what has been the most important element of your recovery how is exercise plays played a role for you as well.

-- -- Of the disease twice had a recurrence for years later.

And I've gone through reconstruction is now being -- -- US.

Diagnosis.

And her.

What is -- just to appreciate each and every day and I look at this isn't I -- and I exercise vigorously four times a week.

-- working out keep strong.

And that's what helps me I -- battle that's invisible don't see happening to your body to eighteen patents and once it does happen you aren't you have.

Things and -- you know -- there -- Elizabeth -- mine I don't live with the fear of recurrence but that's tends to go back further and further each game passes by so what I didn't play invisible disease if you will I eat right I exercise.

And I seen strong machine.

That's what I do.

Please tell me that loves life and don't sweat the little things it's not -- He it's so important for all of us to listen to you because then you'll -- that you don't really ever.

Unfortunately learn until you've experienced a life altering.

Disease and and and survived in order to continue living on different happen and -- are choosing to do something to inspire others which I think.

Is a great example to set for those who are going -- the same thing as you get involved and helping others I think it's a really big part of healing -- and a.

He has you have to -- because.

I know what that person who just as he's done is speaking to fear is scary this scary feeling my going to live no where you're going to and I know what they will have to go through to get through.

So I understand there's an immediate bond markets that we just can't have and I can help any -- him it's -- to talk to someone who knows.

There are about to experience in -- and it is like changing but the most important thing -- -- Awareness people have to be aware.

Early detection is all we have right now saves.

And everyone has to be aware and that's our mission here exports to get the word out to.

If we -- early detection it's what we have depth chart that's all we have right now.

Absolutely it makes really.

The the difference between life and death.

Firm -- just for a lot of women literally.

And it's incredible to see how Ford has raised so much money I guess for eighteen years now.

He dreams more raised more than a 115.

Million dollars.

Yes and what's the goal what what's the future look like.

The goal is to eradicate breast cancer and my goal is to be here to see happen and I have two daughters I don't want to go through.

Alum I have to teach your friends who died from this disease.

And I don't want it to happen.

So early detection is what we're working with Al prevention helping women getting funds for women who can't afford mammograms all of that is there and competitive and helping but the goal is.

In this disease find out to cure.

You know I have to ask you because you talk about.

Preventing you know this disease from spreading catching it early.

When we talk about.

Medicine in this country and mammograms.

Do you feel like there's a bit of the loop hole when it comes to women who who are waiting until -- age forty for the first mammogram and a lot of women.

I would imagine -- you've been in contact with are diagnosed -- a much younger age it almost seems like.

You know health insurance companies and the government need to somehow cooperate in order to catch this early in order to catch it early.

Other than a self breast exams mammograms don't you think should be -- Did much finally are able you have to.

Two of my fellow -- is -- -- -- cover Coca coverage are on.

They're young women and more and more young how young I stood with his disease I was 47 I found myself both times I found a lump myself.

But you're getting dental and you were you getting annual mammograms don't annual mammograms need might actually had -- need immigrant six months before the -- -- -- it was the wanting women have to learn your wrestling goes to your collarbone.

And mine.

-- was very high up on my breath it was shown in a mammogram.

It is still in the -- actually I -- and I let me get down at the G in Hong I was very persistent I got to say don't wait six -- much no thank you and I left for another mammogram that -- -- sound.

That biopsy can within from.

Two days I knew it was -- Let me yourself I mean not only scary.

Well it's.

There's there's another procedure that people can also do is is my.

Undergoing full body cat scans that something that would always kept something like that had you had that but that's another thing insurance companies are never gonna people are.

No because it -- and yeah even don't smarty preventative medicine as far as I'm concerned full body cat -- community are the way to go they should do that a single year I think.

Even.

Helped to end a lot of times unless you know -- is there they won't eat and you also write -- breast.

Com which can help determine sometimes that's a solid so I just look it but there's -- -- involves a whole change insurance companies it's not how he thinks.

How do you think our current health care system -- is dealing with that.

Not very well alone I think -- Michigan mammograms -- -- -- they don't know what I could baseline he's forty when we're looking statistics of women in their twenties.

Yeah you're right.

Well I'm glad -- you're there and and in you know you say you're nothing special you are some very special every person who's involved.

You know -- you say you're just an average person but you know what this is this is.

This is extremely special what you're doing because you're not only raising awareness you're giving back.

And your teaching others who are in the same boat that there is hope and you're also raising awareness as far as what people can do to.

Two to fight cancer aggressive and -- aggressively and as early as possible.

I think it's great what you're doing and we really appreciate you coming on once again that website is for it carries dot com cracked.
