Hi everyone I'm meteorologist -- -- me now from the fox inching weather center with your forecast for the northwest.

And today's going to be another bear equal -- out across northwest we did finally -- -- cold front moves southward and now we're seeing that cold air from Canada sinking into our area producing some very chilly high temperatures for us this afternoon.

Actually we're seeing temperatures are below what's typical for this time of the year.

After a bit of our brief warm up over the last couple of days 35 over for your hi Anna -- 41 over in Billings very -- -- -- -- those -- throughout the entire day.

Low forties across the Dakotas and as we head into the Pacific coast.

The northwest relatively cool as well fifty degrees very high temperature from Seattle down I five in -- Medford.

We are still dealing with areas of showers and thunderstorms and -- and some snow across -- higher elevations.

Of the northern Sierra in California and also -- cascades across Oregon and Washington we could be looking at very dangerous traveling conditions out there.

As -- snow will produce slippery conditions on the roadways throughout the mountain passes otherwise we also have snow across portions of the northern Rockies in Montana Wyoming down into portions.

Even you talk and of course some rain being -- across the Dakotas and some of that -- could come in the form of thunderstorms.

That could actually produced some severe weather as we head into the afternoon hours across eastern portions of Nebraska into parts.

A Minnesota and Iowa so that's something and keep an eye out for we do actually have.

A concern for some tornadoes.

As well as damaging wind gusts and also some large size -- so again that's across parts of Nebraska into portions -- Wisconsin.

On the -- out of that system though look at that -- of that is some snow that will be moving through portions.

A -- -- Gaza parts -- South Dakota.

As we head into basically later in the day on Wednesday early Thursday Rapid City could get some.
