Now one of our top stories this morning Fox News reporting these emails that -- the White House knew the attack in Libby was happening.

And reflect on the White House reaction over the coming weeks after that at 405.

On the afternoon of September 11.

The regional security officer reports the diplomatic mission is under attack.

Explosions have been heard as well.

Ambassador Stephens who is currently in Ben Ghazi and for chief of mission personnel.

405 the afternoon of nine elevenths -- we view this now.

Right well I think you know first of all what that what we know is that that email went into the White House situation room.

As captain reported earlier.

So we know that.

As early as 405 PM DC time the White House was aware this attack was underway.

Now we also know because the president's schedule is public from the White House web site that at 5 PM the president the vice president and the secretary of defense were meeting in the Oval Office.

So it is impossible for me to imagine that they were not informed about these emails that they were not informed about the attack.

And that leads to -- very important question why did they do nothing why did they sit -- for seven hours while this attack unfolded.

And take absolutely no action to protect our people.

Do you would assume also they're getting information -- -- Cairo whatever whoever else was going out the same time but with regard to Libya now for the sake of this discussion six or 7 PM.

Two hours later just about this email and the -- Tripoli reports the group claim responsibility on FaceBook.

And Twitter referring to answer our Sharia -- called for an attack and and the -- Tripoli now.

I'm not arguing that you take the terrorists were forced.

But when you get something like this that you know there's a process to figure out whether topic claim is legitimate or -- just that whether it's a claim.

Right and it is in fact the case that if you go back and you follow these claims responsibility for terrorist attacks particularly since the attack of 9/11.

It is unusual for al-Qaeda related groups to claim responsibility.

For attacks that they in fact are not involved and but at a minimum the White House knew they had claimed responsibility.

So again there's absolutely no excuse or defense for the president to then spend the next ten days telling the American people that this is because of a video.

If I doubt you actually just a little further than that -- you mentioned the president here are two clips now over the the weeks that follow their watch this time stamp now this is what he said that.

No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve this great nation.

Alter that character.

Or clips the light of the values that we stand for.

That is what we saw play out in the last two weeks.

As a crude and disgusting video sparked outrage throughout the Muslim world.

I have made it clear that the United States government had nothing to do -- this video.

I believe its message must be rejected by all who respect our common humanity.

It is an insult not only to Muslims.

But to America's well.

So the first is in the Rose Garden on September 12 and Hillary Clinton the second was the UN speech here.

Belt I believe it was nine or ten days later but it was seventeen days.

And till the administration laid blame on a specific militant group.

Right and I can't you why did nine.

Now while they weren't out there saying we're trying to gather information we don't have all the information and you saw the president's speech before the UN and as you saw with.

UN ambassador -- says you -- -- Secretary Clinton frankly at Andrews Air Force Base when they were receiving the bodies of our.

Dead Americans they talked about the video.

And I think it's it's shameful that they in fact -- it looks like misleading the American people.

The other question I'd like to see the president asked is Mr.

President did you go to sleep that night while union that attack was underway.

Our embassy or consulate was under attack our ambassador was missing.

Did you go to bed without taking any action without doing anything to prevent.

That that attack without doing anything to stop the attack -- save those people.

Not any guesses and why -- you wait you know Hillary Clinton you know when she came out the next day it.

It looked to many of us that she was very drawn out because of this and it could have been that she was up all night as well but knowing this -- okay.

Does it now make more sense as to why governor Romney did not go -- after Libya the other night.

In other words to you know keep in Obama's corner does does that explain this now.

Or -- you know I think that the issue here is President Obama.

And we are in the middle obviously of a critically important election and there's an awful lot of coverage on that debate as there should be on the election that's coming up.

But I think it's important we not divert attention from what is a huge huge story -- from the potential that the present -- United States did absolutely nothing we had a drone overhead watching this unfold.

We could have had forces there from sit in LA Italy within one hour.

The president did nothing in any misled the American people about it it's a huge story I hope the media will follow it and I hope the American people remember when they go into the polling place this thank you for your time it is good to have they -- you -- show -- -- -- Washington.
