But she she did she still looking gorgeous and you're -- the host of the all star show which is all the past winners is that correct they didn't ask.

Compete it is it's we're bringing back the top designers from the you know the partridge -- to celebrated ten years and -- their tenth anniversaries so.

It's been on for while we -- -- I mean devoted followers who really love -- show so they're really excited to see people like Wendy pepper.

And it's not like they're first time around were expecting the most out of them and because it's not their first time round they've been to the rodeo before they know what it takes to wind up in the winner's circle at the end yes they do you and I have to say that there's a lot of drama and their but it's good drama and they're really going at each other with the scissors so to speak and so I'm.

I was surprised I watched a little bit of the premiere episode last and it gets get to sneak -- and I said today -- out how.

Some of them -- really -- -- high eating.

They're personality when they're in front of us that we have no interaction -- until we see their work an -- on state.

So I was a little surprised to see some how some of them behave a vapid and -- -- barely hit the claws are out everything -- -- competitive that's that's very up happening.

How many of these designers who actually won in one of these seasons.

Have gone on to be actual design -- quite a few in fact -- for one of our first guest judges was Mundo.

And he had one d.s first that the premiere season of Project Runway all stars and he would was designer from the past Project Runway.

I'm they're quite a few of them but again like I said they've gone on to have their careers in the design world.

One of them for instance has received a Tony for his designs on Broadway so.

-- -- their successful but to have the notoriety to be on television.

And to really get there this was the biggest prize that they were working towards and Project Runway history.

And it was like a quarter million dollars when you totaled everything up so when I had announced that to them.

They were just jaw drops.

It's a big deal and when it's your livelihood it's a really big deal and we're supportive of all of them.

But it remains to be seen in the designs come out on the runway right.

And -- -- out on the runway for many years -- -- supermodel in the ninety's and then you became a mom you stepped away from it.

I'm sure there were some you know.

Some butterflies in your stomach like one.

I should be doing this maybe I'm they -- unhappy in the carpool lane where I am right now.

I think it's a balanced I I definitely have the butterflies even just sitting here today.

And any time you're exposing yourself and you're under public scrutiny it can be.

Kind of mind boggling that this was this was a good adventure to do you Project Runway all stars walking on the runway a few weeks ago during Fashion Week.

Was kind of nostalgic and I was doing it for -- friend and like I had said earlier meeting girls -- could be their mother.

I just so -- -- my cream eating -- taking care of yourself are they eating they are you know I have to say this is the misconception in the industry as they're -- their young.

They're young I mean -- thing -- a different kind of metabolism or not.

They have fifteen there -- -- -- sixteen.

Because there are guidelines with bringing these girls into the industry.

And down -- and a winter has just been a huge proponent of making sure that these -- are taking care of so they've got to be sixteen or older their shop friends but the fact is they're young.

So now they're not as skinny as people think and there's not eating disorders that are rumored around an industry.

They're just really young and they're happy to be there and some of them are still in school -- home -- along the way -- You'd mention in our broadcast show that you had contemplated going back to college before this opportunity came up for Project Runway all stars what.

What do you wanna do wouldn't mind seeing what I love history and I love our history and it's just something I have my mother was the single mom and she went back to school.

Probably around the same ages I am now -- she was raising my brother and I and I just had some much admiration for her going back in getting her masters.

So I think it also sets a good example from my daughter but it's a personal challenge because I've done.

-- modeled for twenty years and I hope to continue modeling I love my job eleven industry but the Nelson needs something from myself and I think it's really important.
