Well President Obama apparently not mincing words about governor Ronnie during an interview with Rolling Stone magazine.

According to the article.

An executive editor asked this -- that he's -- to his six year old daughter on his way out the door in the morning.

What would you like me to say it to the president and she said quote talon you can do it she was cheering him not.

So mr.

Obama and then -- a quote in this article you know kids have good instincts -- the -- guy and say well that's a BS are.

I can tell attendance at the answer that's we -- -- She is edited for -- this morning so let's bring in our panel we got that job.

Former pollster to President Bill Clinton and Monica Crowley who's a radio talk show host of course and both are Fox News contributors and good friends of the show good morning about -- how does this morning.

So and those are you dad and what it what what do you say about that that is -- -- -- new generally expect president to be thrown around.

You know of course you go there and I think the large.

Your issue.

Here mark is that this was a president who ran in 2000 -- and spoke -- the Democratic Convention.

In 2004.

-- hope and change on ending partisanship.

On changing the discourse and dialogue in America and I understand his frustration in the waning days of an election campaign but.

President's presidential candidates really no one in high elective office should talk that way.

That I mean.

My I I -- when I saw that it popped up that page to me this morning Monica Patton and no I mean I ate it all that left everybody uses -- kind of words occasionally.

You know behind closed doors -- among friends but but for a president to -- in an interview that he knows is going to be published in a national magazine.

I think is remarkable yet this also richly ironic that Barack Obama -- is the one calling somebody else.

And yes there all to -- that point hang it up there.

But I think Doug is right but this really hurts the Obama brands because he did run four years ago.

As somebody who was going to fundamentally transform.

The way politics was done he was positioning himself as a transcendent figure -- gonna change the tone in Washington.

How well now we have four years of evidence to show that that hasn't been the case and he hasn't succeeded in doing that but there's also -- critical other point here I think that that we've been missing.

-- -- -- -- Obama's spending a lot of time on college campuses he went on Leno last night Jon Stewart recently he's going on MTV today.

And he gave this interview to Rolling Stones so he's really trying to mobilize the kids' college kids.

And at this late date in the race if you were still trying to mobilize your base I think you're in big trouble yet that it's a great point you know when you look at the list of interviews and he's done.

It definitely is skewed towards young people.

Right -- vote as well you've got to is several interviews on that -- that to go that route.

Let's -- this from Brian -- which is one of them you know you know broadcast interviews and he's doing on the course this week and get your thoughts on -- the start.

That let's listen.

Folks in your business were writing me off for a year ago saying there's no way I would -- So -- you know these things go and ebbs and flows and the other one thing I've tried to always be -- just -- in terms of what I believe and who I'm fighting for.

And BI think that one of the qualities I bring to bear in this campaign is people -- what did I say I was gonna -- and 2008.

And what a -- delivered and they can have some confidence that the things I say.

I mean.

Under his idea let's put him in that army is out -- this.

Doesn't quite make it that well I think the president in some way is trying to.

Recapture what Monaco alluded to a second ago which is the sense that he was a transformational president that he was the sort of person who would do what he said he was gonna do -- change politics the sad thing is when you look at the economic.

News of the economic condition we're facing in terms of the debt the deficit most of all.

Unemployment he clearly hasn't been able to fulfill his promises and to the extent that he did things like Obama care.

He hasn't exactly wanted to talk about them.

All that much on the campaign trail as best chance so it's been it's been a different campaign and a different President Obama I think Monica what a great.

From the one we saw them.

In 2000 any.

About the big picture you know he promised that he would fix the economy get it back on track and improve our.

You know relations in the world and put us in a better position.

Globally and I think there's -- a lot of debate Monica over whether or not either one of those things -- -- judges' points out.

You know -- I think there's a different way of looking added he listens closely to Barack Obama in 2008 he promised.

It radical transformation.

Of the nation his words not mind.

And I think to a large extent he delivered on that the problem is the fundamental transformation he had in mind and that he carried out of the last four years.

Is not what the American people had in mind we're talking -- radical wealth redistribution.

Unprecedented spending.

Record breaking deficits and debt and as -- points out socialize medicine.

All of these things are very unpopular they have not worked and the American people are now rejecting.

What he is -- here so I don't think he hasn't delivered I think he's delivered the problem for him is that he's delivered the wrong things.

-- American you know it's very clear from his demeanor and his schedule that he knows he's in the fight of his political life right now.

And he wants very much to frame how people are -- his presidency.

I and is understood that that's who's doing an asset to have it run as soon as well in terms of his campaign dad Michael thank you so much as it was courtesy -- all you bet thank thank you.
