Hello there I'm meteorologist Janice Dean taking a look at your temperatures across the northeast and the Great Lakes can you see where we've got a massive cold front plowing through.
Wow look at the temperature difference Minneapolis 42.
-- in Chicago so this cold front is eventually going to push eastward.
And venture into the northeast and this cold front actually couldn't steer.
An extra tropical sandy but we'll get to that -- in just a moment because we think that sandy could potentially have impacts.
Across the mid Atlantic in the northeast early next week.
And part of the reason is we have -- that cold front that's gonna kind of back this storm.
In towards the coastline -- for now.
Warm temperatures for Pittsburgh.

In Charleston let's take a look at the satellite radar imagery.
There's that cold front headed along a cold front that's where we see -- precipitation some heavy rain even some thunderstorms.
And some snow several inches of snow.
Across portions of the upper midwest again this cold front's gonna continue to move eastward.
And with that bringing that cold air and perhaps a little bit of snow is well so -- -- future radar as we head into Friday.
And Saturday and then we're gonna -- -- watch.
Sandy hurricane sandy kind of move north word.
Attorney extra tropical meaning losing its tropical characteristics in becoming kind of like a nor'easter and we think this cold front is gonna -- hook up.
Sandy extra tropical sandy.
And move in towards the coastline so I know a lot of information but you if you live anywhere from the mid Atlantic up towards Maine.
From the Carolinas to Maine you need to be paying very close attention.
