Burned out but refusing to -- out as the presidential nominees make their final mention how they'll get Americans working again.

A new study showing nearly two thirds of employees are stressing out.

As the economic recovery continues stalling out but they're not given up.

Time to get them the credit for keeping America great.

Everybody I'm struck a -- welcome to cash and in.

I guess different as a way we have Wayne Rogers Jonathan Hoenig Tracy Byrnes sadly it -- and also joining us this week we lovers Sally come on his -- so.

What about all the -- -- start with you here burnt out workers.

Cult thing.

The economy how does that work I was -- if we continue to have you ever only skipped work and -- cookies -- -- during coffee break but that's not utopia right now but what we are seeing that even though people are in John's they can't stand.

Myself not included.

You are going to work anyway casino that pay bills you know you got and keep your household going you're not quitting.

And your -- and your family and I think that is part of the American drive that is keeping this economy going right is it good though John late though that 63% of workers spells stressed experience quote extreme.

Fatigue is that is that good for business.

No it's not good for Minnesota that many Americans are feeling stressed out where were in bad economic times -- the lowest labor participation rate in over thirty years and 47 million Americans.

Are in poverty right now and so there are some -- -- economic times out there.

But the fact that American -- go to work is what Americans have gotten -- the greatest generation did in World War II.

It's what our soldiers and up and all of them at least eight different times to see what a great job our soldiers are doing.

This is what America does I was -- top Americans are stressed there -- jobs being created we have structurally high unemployment and America's not used to that but what America does -- show all the work put their nose out there had been ordered up.

And start plow -- ahead.

You know what -- -- Sally is that more Americans now say.

That just showing up to work is the number one priority not job performance just to show one -- as being there does that -- I mean I agree with everybody -- look obviously part of what makes Americans hardworking makes us great is that we do keep working in spite of -- obstacles.

But of course were exhausted and stressed out look people have been working longer and longer hours.

And productivity has gone up.

But wages have been stagnant for over thirty years in this country.

While profits have risen I mean we have does -- economy to believe -- working people for as much as we possibly can.

And they are not getting the benefits of it.

Course there -- exhausted and stressed out well.

Jonathan Hoenig I mean isn't it true that with increased worker productivity did that you do have American businesses that do.

Financially better in turn helping the US economy.

Yeah.

Mean the American workers are are stressed out well you know what's a little more stressful not having a job that's much more stressed what.

I think -- Tracy's point then just struck stress is a normal part of life it's a normal part of work certainly.

And we deal with it by knowing that we're capable as the panelists talked about of overcoming it.

What the study spoke to -- a feeling of hopelessness.

With the feel like nothing you can do to two to achieve there's nothing you can do.

To succeed and I got to tell -- I think that comes from a culture from culture that says as -- alluded to the whole game is rigged to cool the 1% control everything in there are you -- government to live your life to make your decisions for you that -- -- self -- down because your motivational.

I don't have a lot -- -- -- -- it what -- if you look at it again at these numbers 53% of workers surveyed seldom say that they they'll they will take stress breaks they they will find ways on the job to deal with stress.

To keep working I mean that is a level of commitment.

-- -- -- Yeah yeah yeah but I don't know this is so much -- voodoo cycle -- I think give everybody stressed I would not know yes I'm.

Stressed that everybody gets stressed -- -- dead.

Some guy who's definitely assembly line -- have a big -- up at the top whose yellow work in overtime killing himself trying to make the numbers work.

He stressed that -- David -- -- trading stocks like John event he's stressed that if the markets going up he's happy if the market going down he's really stranded.

Everybody stressed big deal get out of live with a -- you know.

And -- Yeah Dillon read but I think I thought let's act it's.

It took some levels the worst because we're stressed about where the economy is going you know -- I'm worried I'm sure a lot because I don't -- in my seat.

About a gonna get laid off.

So and that I think is as a -- that we haven't seen in a long time this notion that.

Can't ever sell my house again well you know what I bet his mortgage just think that is off and look and -- -- it -- it and look what happened.

Even if we do would she even would you create jobs even if we do make money but even if we do make it.

What are we -- we're lambasting where demonize we're thing -- you didn't he didn't earn that you -- more and more your achievements for the common good so.

I mean that vent that feeling of hopelessness that Billick has -- -- And is 2.2 Sally is what is workers telling us -- it's just that is wanna show lot.

Estimate all of that and I look I don't think we're debating you know sort of capitalism vs social and we're talking a different kinds of capitalism and how they enable workers to feel that they are valued -- productive part of the economy vs being used in chewed up and spit out.

And look we had capitalism that worked really great in the fifties and in the sixties when workers put -- hard work.

Bosses made money two -- workers saw their productivity of their income their family -- Well and how they're working harder and harder and getting less and less to benefit.

Right just blaming government that's what's your thought there we -- those workers an answer and clearly it there -- stressed and it's showing up until haven't.

-- is still one of the things that that worker productivity as you know that does help the business does the fact that they can achieve more.

With less and we are still in a bad economy where that is an unfortunate requirement and doing business in the -- Yes yeah I you look at what FaceBook -- done basically gets creative forty billion dollar market cap company came -- obviously a lot higher that in forty billion dollars.

Would only 2000 employees.

They don't need any more employees so -- their profits are up but they're not hiring -- not passing down.

It's a book called it it is different now what these tech companies that same forty billion dollar market cap company -- that CBX railroad has ten times that number employees.

So we don't have those jobs that are being created that are being needed about these large companies were some of these huge cash balance sheets.

They don't need these employees that's why we need something like -- energy plan.

Are some top of -- -- plan to get something done because we -- -- -- have been on the rise.

-- -- -- That that the jobs plan is freedom -- -- wants to go back to that that the 1950s let's go back to the 1890s.

Let's go back to the most productive point in this country's history before this entitlement state all the government handouts to help us live our lives were actually grade that was the most productive point in American.

History we go back to that you know what you don't workers feel like distracts elected down.

They feel like there enabled to Italian -- From poverty -- that process right now I think yeah side to all this too is innovation right shower technology or like creating new products -- -- -- -- work and I'm so stressed out I don't worry about everything at home.

I'm not pushing this economy forward either so.

Were halting it on so many levels just because of the uncertainty that's hanging over our head deal and waited -- point -- I think it's a very fair one it's kind of a shame that people aren't excited to get we gotta work excited about.

Their jobs I mean that's kind of a ship that we haven't -- For.

Well Ali -- look we've gone from a manufacturing society to a service society a service economy.

And that's going to put it in and of itself is -- and use -- less and less people in the what.

If you go to China now they got -- booming economy and people at the work a level but caused.

They are amount -- -- guide the economy however have changed so it's not gonna happen to sell units you know you can't just make it happen that way and so everybody's going to be stressed sure are.

Yeah I think the least -- person and all of this right now is John labeled and I'm just you know less stressful and it cannot.

It is today all right guys thank you very much -- yeah.
