A routine check for underage drinking led investigators to a car filled with weapons.

Authorities say a twenty year old man went into this CVS pharmacy -- El Cajon boulevard at 62 street at about 730 Friday night.

When undercover investigators followed the man out to his car he opened the trunk to place the -- inside and that's when they say they spotted something suspicious.

Upon further investigation has found a number of weapons in his trunk.

Along with some other items of concern including -- what looks like a tank of gasoline.
