Hemmer good morning to you at home you know when darkness arrived last evening half the out of Manhattan was in the dark.

One of those subway stations in lower Manhattan with recovery operations.

He says are underway what do you -- -- David -- I'm seeing a lot of -- MTA workers take a look over my shoulder this is the south ferry subway station -- it is in the southernmost tip of Manhattan.

It is as you can clearly see boarded up you can see the caution tape you can see this sandbags what you can see right down that escalator I walk down there are few moments ago.

There is fifty feet five drove fifty feet of water.

In this subway station -- newly renovated subway station and off in the distance -- even get a peek at it from here the Army Corps of Engineers is here.

Off in the distance you can see their emergency operations -- a special a league team has now arrived consisting of hydrologist as well as engineers.

They are going to assist the Army Corps of Engineers and others to try and restore the New York City Subway station.

But it's not going to be up and running anytime soon.

At least as far as most New Yorkers are concerned and very quickly I -- add something very disturbing that happened a few moments ago.

A young -- showed up here with what appeared to be fake and TA that's the people who run the subway credentials he tried to get into the subway system he was dot.

They don't know what he was planning to do.

They had to drop a basket five adults and one child.

During an emergency evacuation Staten Island overall still in very rough condition he's in a moment ago Tony two people have died in New York City seven of those deaths in Staten Island.

One of them and off duty new York city police officer who died in Staten Island.

He apparently was electrocuted.

Possibly the hardest hit location in the five -- of New York City breezy point queens.

We've heard about the 100 homes -- -- by fire.

Let's not forget the fact that -- more than 100 more have suffered their extensive flood damage people were told to evacuate from there.

But more than half of them simply refused to do so and lastly let me tell you about what's happening across the Hudson River from here -- in Hoboken.

The streets there are still covered with water -- still many streets have barely pass the ball.

The if the officials there say 20000 people now want to be evacuated they need emergency supplies they need food they need generators they need -- they need they say.

A great deal of -- out and lastly now taking advantage of all this bad news.

Here in New York City that they're -- people.

Taken into custody.

For looting from -- -- Napa -- ends up being part of the story of 20000 people need to be evacuated still from Hoboken and that is.
