Well as we've been hearing for the governor bill yesterday's it was papers are only wants to focus on rebuilding today but what were about to show you was one of the reasons why.

New Jersey transit system is still for the most part grounded.

Because of boats.

On railroad tracks this is not the only one this is -- seen it being repeated.

Up and down the coastal train lines you see all sorts of debris out here -- pieces of doc.

Just generic.

Stop the the fuel tank over there and you see another boat off in the distance.

There are boats on.

Commuter rail tracks and these train tracks lead did -- out of -- Kwan.

Which was hit.

As part of Point Pleasant was there are oil leaks there that are keeping residents off the streets there are numerous.

Dozens if not hundreds of damaged homes stand in the streets just like we saw in Point Pleasant beach.

Cars overturned the situation to manage but it's very very bad they're not letting people.

Into that community.

Spring Lake another.

New Jersey Shore town not a single board left on the boardwalk.

It's very very hard and you were mentioning seaside heights we're getting aerials of seaside -- to show that.

That community was ravaged that that roller -- of the famous roller coaster now in the ocean.

Homes underwater.

There are still homes in Point Pleasant beach underwater we we saw them this morning on our way out accounts of the situation here as dire as we know two point seven million.

Homes and businesses were without power at the peak.

Still probably people in the dark here.

Morning guys it's a remarkable site -- drive -- in last night when you cross from the border Pennsylvania into New Jersey.

It is just blackness out there on Thursday there there's no power there are no lights.

But what you're showing us -- does that run just along the shoreline or how much further does that go inland.

Well that these tracks run along the -- don't have the exact.

Mileage for you but I know that there are.

Issues like this for a very significant stretch that they have a lot of cleanup to do to get -- stretch running we heard this morning that.

Bus service was restored in Camden county New Jersey that's one county.

Out of the entire state where the transit system is now operating buses they have so far to go here go there just just beginning.

Now we are looking at some pictures screen right Rick we're -- talking mirror that's the town of -- squandered you and your crew were trying to get in.

And I know it's been difficult yeah because the police are trying to do their work as well but the images come to -- -- behalf of one of our colleagues here.

On the -- Casey whose parents and grandparents spent an awful lot of time in that town.

Rick I think what you're gonna find a -- a squad is going to be a scene of devastation yet again unfortunately.

Yeah well we're we're headed -- next bill -- we've gotten secure permission.

To at least get into the town with our -- and and get a look at what's going on in there and and we've been told it's it's it's -- And we'll see you next hour OK Rick Leventhal on the -- there today -- again all right Martha.
