You know the lawmakers from the president of the governor were -- doing.

Our -- but the real people on the ground are the mayor's and they are certainly the the the people who are for the first responders you've been a congressman for 34 years and you've represented these people for more than three decades.

The -- your district is completely -- -- -- and said.

Yesterday and Del -- man came up and he says I've lost everything.

You know -- -- gonna see people who are truly displaced and we've got to find -- There for them right -- we appreciate you taking the time to be with us -- we've seen so much devastation and the work has not even begun yet as you can see they're trying to clear the roads to make way for -- can comment as start.

Is closing gas leaks and trying to get the power back -- to that some people may be soon can come back to their homes and try to figure out how much they've lost -- how to recover.

Yeah you know -- you got me thinking when talking about gas leaks and -- bulldozers coming in you know.

I'm not Johnny rocket here but I that could be and it's dangerous.

Situation what are they doing just to be on top of that.

Well they have roadblock set up and they won't let people back into these communities in many cases to even.

Survey the damages and see their homes because it's just not safe to come in here because of the ghastly because of the lines down because of the roads that are blocked.

It's it's just not safe to their urging people to stay away one other thing a lot of make note of here -- They went door to door to warn people to get out mandatory evacuations they made people sign waivers you decide to stay behind.

After the storm they went door to door to everyone who signed a waiver so people -- at home.

They're looking for those people so if you want to sign a waiver and you haven't got cut for the town got a -- -- -- you're okay.
