To have the jury which in this case is the American public.
-- all the negative references in the world.
-- and yet and yet not speak the truth.
In the -- can only imagine what the truth must be like if they're willing to keep silent.
The fact it's the -- facts are known facts are simple.
They're known they're available the only thing that remains -- to disclose them.
Former attorney general Michael Mukasey on America a lot of meg and Kelly this afternoon talking about the -- -- situation this comes as new developments.
Today Catherine Herridge obtaining.
Seeing -- -- State Department cable.
Summarizing and August 15.
This of course the month before the September 11 attack.
And that essentially said that the regional security officer did not believe that the consulate compound could be adequately protected.
From a the al-Qaeda groups including on -- -- -- That was in the area.
And that there was a lack of manpower security measures weapons capabilities.
And nations support and that there were very concerned about the compound there this is a document a cable that was marked.
Secret and was sent to sectors that Clinton.
This is another document in a long trail that we've been on covering as this continues.
To develop we're back with the panel.
Well it is it's another piece of the puzzle -- mean we knew we knew from the congressional testimony that.
Other security officers and -- Gaza and elsewhere were expressing alarm raising alarms about the state of security.
In and -- as far back as that spring we know that the ambassador himself was sending cables on September 11.
Saying that he didn't feel adequately -- now we know that this was this emergency meeting was called middle of August just three weeks before the attacks.
Expressing these same concerns naming those terrorist groups that eventually will be.
The ones that they now believe are behind heart and this coordinated attack and it's almost it's it's it's almost like he had a premonition.
But I think the biggest problem for the administration here is that they continue to tell us that they're providing all of the information.
When they are manifestly not providing all of the information -- the United States has set on two different occasions.
I'm sharing all of this information as it comes in in real time with the American people.
That is patently false there's no way to dress that up as anything else it is untrue he's not sharing that information.
I can come up with a list of three dozen questions that the White House is an answering right now.
Because they're not sharing information they're not sharing with the American people they're not -- -- members of congress who are asking they're not sharing information the withholding it from.
-- you don't want want senator Lindsey Graham on that very point.
He's dealing with the Tunisian was trying to get access to this guy who's being who's a suspect in their custody -- -- this.
I'm -- so sure we're trying very hard to get to the bottom of it here at home.
-- the Obama administration stonewalling the congress in misleading the American people have written.
Almost a -- half a dozen letters to the administration haven't heard one word back.
That's a sitting member of -- Well investigations not done so I don't know what he wants to hear he wants to conduct its own investigation he's free to do so but.
To my mind you know country with Steve I think that administration has tried to put out what they have.
But they don't have the answers and I think that -- they were putting out answers they would be self serving -- so.
To my mind they're taken a big hit -- I mean you know clearly -- think something's up what's going -- wire keep telling us more.
And you'll look at this fox poll here about on handling of Libya among likely voters before them it says -- 39% approve but 47%.
Disapprove so they handling.
If not exactly a political winner for this administration.
But when it comes the question where did the administration intentionally try to misleading Americans on attacks and Libya.
It's a split decision there but the plurality say there's no misleading.
And so the question becomes.
Should the administration be forcing this or is -- the case that the other side is trying to politicize it just didn't indicate that somehow there's.
No reason for the people for the American people to trust Barack Obama on foreign policy which they still prefer President Obama on foreign opinion.
You think that the administration is who's holding information.
That could serve them.
This is the administration when they did the -- on in the mountains seal team six and they had a ton of information about -- that should never have been released.
And which serve them well they released it almost immediately in the scandal -- open way because it exposed a lot of Americans.
And a lot of our people so this -- not imitation which has shown itself.
To be keeper of secrets that would actually help more than clearly a virus exactly I mean and and and the drone attacks -- -- on all of this into leaks whenever.
It will help them and here we know that they know stuff.
What happened in the nine dollars when they had real time information and what was happening where it was a present.
-- I was and he -- directing actions who are the ones who come commanded any assistance where was the president when that happened.
All of that the president notes.
And it won't serve him and that's why he's not saying it but wait until after election or after he's -- otherwise you will not here this is not administration.
Which is loath to release stuff even if you had -- financial security which will help them.
Took another hour could be coming.
That's it for the -- --
