It plays well measure -- here for many of the -- in and actually people that are either put -- -- -- does nothing but good news in this report.

How we are certain CDC a little bit of the upper teeth test seven point nine but that's because more people actually going -- to look for work so that is a positive sign is well.

So when he comes in terms of unemployment -- -- and that unemployment percent so.

I think that this president has failed miserably the unemployment numbers show that and we're just getting so used to the bad news that we think that.

Anything if you squint really hard -- you may be sweet and good news out of that but it's just that the case for -- indeed squinting.

Well you know and as -- -- seven point nine is is good when it's going down in battery is going out.

So there are some positive news Saturday and then when he came into office it was about 9% this was an inheritance -- what the policies -- wouldn't it be better -- you would hope what you want it to be better but again we're making the progress and that's what's important to see this trending and they -- certain to come down from -- get it from being what he did inherit background George W.

Bush the economy.

Now these are the closing days of this election cycle and we heard something akin to -- closing argument from President Obama.

Are campaigning in pennies former stomping grounds of Nevada.

Yesterday let's listen to the president -- -- after four years as president you.

You know me by now.

Agree with every decision I've made you maybe get frustrated at the -- change but you know what I believe.

You know I stand.

You know I'm willing to make tough decisions even when they're not politically committed.

You know that I will fight for you and your families every single day as hard about it.

And I.

-- Sold -- my opponent can talk about change but I know what real change once like because I've bought more.

I've got the scars to prove it.

Well scars both candidates probably can point to -- on their various persons at this point penny and -- We heard these closing arguments how effective -- -- likely to be.

In the case of the president.

-- he's an -- and saying you know me I'm safe stay with me that's a powerful appeal isn't it.

Well I don't really -- that -- -- that we know him better than we did four years ago certainly I don't think this is necessarily to his favor but if you notice in his closing arguments he did not.

Point to a single achievement he did not point to a creating jobs because he has and he can't point to any of his.

-- legislative initiatives that have resulted -- anything positive for the American people he's just saying.

Yeah I know maybe it's not great -- you know Lisa stick with me I don't think that's a powerful appeal in the closing days when you're asking the American people to reelect you need it.

-- next to him -- just alone speech of which we only took about forty seconds in which she did talk about some of his accomplishments but penny going to you.

But when we see President Obama talking about big bird.

I'm talking about Romney Asia and playing and cutesy games with the opposing candidates name.

Isn't he in fact running the very kind of campaign that he warned against in 2008 when he said.

You know in essence I'm paraphrasing if you don't have a record he can run on you -- the other -- someone to run from.

If you can't make the election about big things you make about small things.

-- -- -- -- -- Knowing that if campaign they have run a very shrewd campaign and they know exactly what they're doing to be able to turn out the type of people that they need to to be able to win the country to campaign wish they want to win.

So whether or not it's in the lineup from Asia which is very popular out there whether or not it's in the in you know trying to say you know what that is about big bringing remember why why that came about which was Mitt Romney refusing to say we remember why it came of it.

So silly -- so -- -- we look at the candidates are out there and they are these are the last moments in these campaigns and there's a lot of spaghetti that's been thrown against -- to see what's gonna stick.

But they are making effective -- each -- in their own ways -- make it effective closing arguments for their own constituency that question is whether or not they can persuade that independent voter.

OK let me start with you on this penny because I think we're gonna run out of time shortly but I wanna get you both on the record on this subject which is Ben -- and foreign policy in general.

Fox News has been covering this story aggressively so -- CBS news in fairness to the so called mainstream media Newsweek Daily Beast has been a leader on the Ben -- story.

How much do you think it matters.

I think they're gonna last closing argument senator really matter all that much and I think when you look at the list of things that -- concerns foreign policies -- number nineteen out of the list of twenty.

It just hasn't really been that resonated with people so I don't think -- -- -- -- well foreign policy is important -- -- he's usually important issue at least it should be the president's trying to run out the clock on this hoping that that people don't quite understand.

What all of what the issue is and he's doing that with relative success.

That the issues -- -- interest in foreign policy should be interested.

In effect you the president to a stonewalling in not answering the questions very important questions from members of congress and the public at an foreign policy aside.

And that's a huge issue of all right it's not gonna go away we'll hear about it more after the election we hope we hear from both -- you more after the election -- thanks to.
