Maybe you remember that's.
Want to thank you all for and brownie you're doing a heck of the job.
The favorite directors and yeah.
-- are today.
All right that was then but what happened within weeks of that we all know that pat went only so far.
That's -- to today and Michael Brown says get ready for somebody this administration.
The start looking for a scapegoat because things will get worse maybe a lot worse may be it's at that point Michael what a -- was raising.
The possibility -- -- a lot more bodies being found because some of these homes are only now.
Getting accessible.
Here's what amazes me -- -- correct me if I'm wrong but.
Last I learned of -- the last going to Staten Island was still part of the city of New York City and needed it and if you if somebody should be asking this question.
How many urban search and rescue teams -- has FEMA.
Deployed to Staten Island.
How many urban search and rescue teams have been deployed to Long Island to queens -- the -- homes were burned.
Because they -- that there are still in their response mode.
And when -- response mode I -- it.
I know nobody else what to criticize anybody and I don't work for the -- -- because FEMA have to do what the state and local governments ask them to do.
But seriously you're gonna hold -- -- home.
Well you still trying to get people out of buried homes homes have been flooded there's just something wrong with -- and I did it -- one more thing.
I wrote an article about how it and you know I even talked about I think Charles Payne and I talked about -- New Yorkers needed to chill because it's gonna take a long time.
I get the people are suffering.
But after how many disasters.
-- disasters is going to take.
For people to recognize.
That the federal government even state and local governments are not cannot -- as we're seeing now will not.
Be there to take care of you commit this is driving me not.
By the way those comments -- were clearly taken out of context I know exactly what we're saying you were not saying to -- -- -- what you were saying it's.
That the reality with rescue efforts today is that they won't be coming anytime soon or anytime fast and that will.
Very analogous to what happened in Katrina.
Those who thought everything was hunky dory would later discover it was not the case I hope not to -- -- Katrina like dimensions I suspect and pray not right but -- -- it is a very very likely.
That a lot of people whose homes are now only coming into view and a lot of we're getting -- -- -- -- Michael.
Is only because frankly fox showed an interest until then -- I staff members who work there's -- else.
I got -- -- my parents are under water their whole swaths of the town that can't be recognized now.
Homes destroyed a lot of people inaccessible.
Homes that can't be reads elderly couples who can't be contacted so the only good point here is that we don't know what we've got -- earlier point we mentioned votes.
-- -- -- -- -- I don't think now's the time for each other.
But in these various officials to not only get a marathon going but to be patting themselves on the back saying we're doing a great well.
Let let me address that if you if you recall you know I had the conversation.
That if you watch that videotape closely aware of bush says the -- heck of -- job you see me whips.
Because I've just been telling the president exactly how bad things worried that -- comes out and says that.
Here's the issue.
I talked to a couple of I mean -- -- your staffers -- your friends in New York City.
When this storm before -- that I should have the power goes it will likely be seven maybe even ten days sometimes longer before power is restored.
I talked what are your producers today in her building they're hoping that by midnight tomorrow or Sunday all the buildings -- actually say you're going -- next week.
This thing is not over there are still in response mode and to hold a marathon I -- a marathon last summer I was there I observed the miracle -- you have to have police officers you can fire trucks.
You have to have health care workers I think they should be taking care of people Staten Island queens elsewhere or get the priorities straight right.
Michael Brown I'll take you there.
