Republican enthusiasm for Romney was -- in the beginning you think he has he has solidified I think he solidified I think he's a great last month I think the the born again Christian element of the Republican Party which is very very important.

Is really intensified.

Catholic voters -- intense this point in time they feel that the religious freedom issues are very very important whoever wins the Catholic vote -- majority.

Has historically won the presidency so I think we have some.

Real intense supporters out there senior senior voters are extraordinary voters and they turned out in record numbers in 2010.

My sense is that do that again OK so you see Republicans are for Romney -- about independent.

Well I think I think independents are basically in the latest polls show that they're splitting towards him.

And I think that clearly is what -- it makes a difference equally as important it was going to be more Republican voters in the war in 2008 that was a record number of Democrats.

I think they're gonna have a hard time getting that same kind of vote intensity out again.

So that the democratic polling models that essentially take the 2008 election and and -- -- the new standard you think that that.

-- inflated with democratic -- -- didn't last very long didn't last -- 2010.

Quickly quickly evaporated.

And and you go back to the last decade.

You know we put Republicans have increased their intensity and and I think our coalitions are very strong and very very support.

The Romney campaign is pushing into Pennsylvania and Minnesota at this late stage running ads.

That kind of thing.

Are those states winnable for them.

If if we end up with a landslide they certainly are and and you know I don't think anybody does points gonna predict a landslide but they certainly one's -- they have the resources.

There's no no reason they shouldn't have gone there.

I don't think that's the coalition gets in there I think the coalition against him there long we've talked about in the show over and over again they've got to win Florida they don't want Ohio that -- -- Virginia.

And when North Carolina got when something else whether it be Colorado.

Island New Hampshire winner.

So these candidates are both making appearances today and I I know they're even talking about at least on the Republican side Mitt Romney's talking about making appearances tomorrow can that be effective.

Again less than 24 hours you know what it does is it is it creates immediate the -- and it basically get your supporters in tents which you don't wanna do -- you don't wanna take away from the very important get out the vote efforts.

And sometimes -- rallies and what have you.

Takes volunteers takes people who do that so my sense I'm gonna go -- to do something like that and make it they get a quick in quick out and get back to Boston.
