You thank you now look what we have.
Cuyahoga County you've heard the word it took a lot of -- a long time to learn to pronounce it it's Cleveland and surrounding and it is so important that everybody in the world knows.
There are keys to winning for the Republican and a Democrat they -- joining is the Republican national committee chair Bob frost is on your left.
And it didn't do it as -- as -- that Bob lemon crops -- and -- democratic counterpart.
Stewart Stewart -- is on the right gentlemen good afternoon.
Good afternoon -- rob let's start with -- -- the Republicans what's the key in Cuyahoga County which can't be the key to Ohio.
Our key here is turning out are voting counting -- -- but thanks for having me on -- I wanna make sure your viewers know.
That -- -- can deliver the highest vote total of any county in Ohio for governor Romney tomorrow.
We intend to do that we intend that to deliver Ohio's eighteen electoral votes for governor Romney and winning Ohio and winning the press.
-- -- what do you need for numbers there numbers in Kyle accounting for the president to go okay Ohio's all right.
Well we're we're looking for.
2008 numbers perhaps even better but.
2008 we came in and about 258000.
Plurality.
That was sufficient to carry.
To carry out President Obama threw to a victory statewide so we fully expect.
To -- those kind of numbers again.
-- the analysts around here said 250000.
In Cuyahoga county and and Cuyahoga County may well belong to the president and -- Cuyahoga County county belongs to the president Ohio probably belongs to the president.
You buy that.
Well the the president may wind county county but the margin is going to be a lot smaller than it was last time around it won't be 250000.
Margin.
How we can already see that from the early voting.
There are fewer Democrats voting early this time 171000.
Fewer ballots voted early buyout by Democrats this this time -- 2008.
But we've got 121000 more Republican early ballots cast than than four years ago.
So you're looking at right there is a 29000 votes swing you take that out across the state that's a 300000 votes we -- more in the state of Ohio have more than makes up for the difference.
Stewart is -- and rob to both of you this time.
Two different plans to different ways of approaching.
The ground game -- if we could start with you it's my understanding that the president's ground game offices -- been -- since.
Well before the president was the president some of them.
Well well then that's that this ground game has been has been has been in effect probably show up for maybe a year and a half.
Halfway -- remember we -- we had senate bill five which became an issue to.
Last November of 2011 that was the collective bargaining.
Eradication of collective bargaining for the public unions that really energized.
-- -- Democrats.
And independents and as a result.
There was a lot of effort done by.
By the -- -- failed bombers campaign people were came men and graciously provided a lot of assistance and quite frankly.
Never shut down.
-- on the ground for quite frankly about a year and a half.
Must have did Stuart -- invokes issue too we also had on the ballot last year issue three which was the repudiation of a lot obamacare in Ohio.
It passed in in Cuyahoga County pastor resoundingly.
Across the state of Ohio Ohio and said we don't want obamacare now we have the chance to what governor Romney the next president.
And repeal obamacare so we've been up and running really ever since that effort.
We have 34 now actually victory centers open in Cuyahoga County.
And the difference in the ground game is what the Democrats are doing -- just going out and -- their base in trying to mobilize it.
What we've seen governor Romney do his closing argument has been to reach out to the independent voters he did that here yesterday in Cleveland with a huge rally.
And we're gonna do we're gonna Kerry the independent voting -- accounting.
We're gonna win a larger percentage than you've seen out of -- county county since the Reagan Democrat -- back in the 1980s.
Rob out as the day before how concerned are you.
That tomorrow what everyone's going to be talking about is an op Ed piece about president that governor Romney's stance.
On the auto industry.
I'm not very I think that our governor Romney has an answer that well here in Ohio when he talks very correctly.
About the outsourcing now happening.
With Ohio jobs.
Ohio jobs with Jeep that's not Toledo west of here and now you see -- expanding production in China.
This is what President Obama did I he saved the auto industry so that we could be expanding the the auto jobs in China.
I don't think people are buying it I think the argument is standing and I really think it's about all the president Scott Stewart what I've seen in the -- suggests otherwise.
-- apple first of all not no one -- -- is buying.
Now what is -- governor Romney's.
Notion that's been GM and Chrysler are going to be.
I shipping the jobs over to China.
They're going to be building plants over there for Chinese effort for her for China's consumption.
But -- that that that canard has been shredded by every newspaper and and and and if not just that alone.
The -- -- to CEOs of General Motors and Chrysler both come out repudiated the jobs are staying here in Ohio that's why Ohio one elevator.
-- have jobs are directly connected to the auto industry.
That's why Ohio.
Is doing so well right now and that is why we have one of the lowest unemployment in the state of Ohio is because of the fact that the auto industry is -- And -- and not because we let it go bankrupt but because we provided with essential financing -- at the public's.
At the public's that assistants and this is while I was doing so well.
-- -- -- and rob frost Democrat and Republican Cuyahoga County.
We'll see you see you two gentlemen tomorrow best of luck.
Thank you thank you all right well that's.
