-- ago we heard for the Obama team -- things fair and balanced Sean Spicer Republican National Committee is the communications director Sean how are you -- good morning.
I feel great good morning happy election we'll tell you about her and happy election today's -- -- as well we just heard from the democratic counterpart you.
Who says look man we inherited a mess we've done our best -- trying clean it up the job -- not done do not turn back.
And your -- -- well there's one.
There's a couple problems with that argument that Brad made one -- The unemployment rate is higher than when Barack Obama came in office the debt is substantially higher he came in it was ten trillion it's now sixteen -- -- every other economic.
All it -- that thought we would it take you live now.
To Janesville Wisconsin and that is the Republican vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan.
There with I believe that was his wife screen left a moment ago -- these are live pictures coming to us now and we'll continue our conversation here -- -- -- If our viewers were with us some 45 minutes ago you saw Mitt Romney and -- Romney cast their ballot in Belmont Massachusetts and now we see.
Paul Ryan back home southern part of the stayed in Wisconsin a guy -- represented a district now for fourteen years.
Taking his children and I and his wife Janet to the voting place with him and she's gonna -- -- course but the kids have been.
You know sort of a big part of all of this process some -- cute pictures that come out of them it's clearly enjoying at all and -- so many people across the country.
Believe in bringing your kids with you when you go to vote and making them part of the process so that they will grow up seeing that happen and that they will want to be active -- parts of the process themselves and it was literally there in the polling place it was.
Tradition for my mother in me head to reelect every time you walk up -- -- drive across new broad and cast our ballot then we would walk back and here you are still Donald process and that -- right so Sean you're saying what is your best argument for how Mitt Romney wins today.
I'd be glad to be interrupted by conch and Ryan any -- in the weeks and it was great show that but but Barack Obama.
When he came in office he said that he -- gonna fix the problems that he thinks he understood the breath about.
And he had the solutions form the unemployment rate is higher the -- is higher.
Energy prices are higher education costs are higher so that argument to Brad -- frankly doesn't hold water.
But second of all listen to what governor Romney's been saying on the trail he's not -- -- complain about what he's gonna inherit and frankly it's going to be worse.
Than what President Obama inherited he's going to end day one get the job done -- fix the problems.
And that's what America's looking for right now is someone he's gonna tackle the people's problems that this country faces with real solutions -- you so if their argument is -- an 800000 jobs at first month they took office and on it went from there.
But as you look at the map today and -- all the -- that you've crunched.
What concerns you.
Nothing actually I feel I actually feel very good today we've got the issues on our side people like.
And in polling poll after poll they talk about.
How governor Romney's leadership and economic solution to what this country's looking for we've got the intensity of our base -- Mean when you talk about the people out there on the ground they are fired up much more sand so than the other side.
There will make it more voter contacts we've ever made history that of our side.
And then if you look at again go to the polling and look at the independence the independence from anywhere from from 910% all the way -- to twenty and every one of these battleground states.
It breaking for governor Romney and that's a very positive sign so I -- -- Cerrato have a very good night.
You know it is like -- 2008 the present Obama beat John McCain by eight points among independents and so on this -- we've seen this week in fact is governor Romney up fifteen points in that category this is what we're hearing that when polling places in the battleground states now.
Not outside the battleground states but in places like Ohio and especially New Hampshire they're talking about record turnout numbers at some of these polling stations already.
Now now there's a strong turnout does that help you -- does that hurt you.
Well obviously depends on who's turning out but as I -- mentioned before.
We've had probably the most robust.
An enthusiastic and energetic get out the vote effort in history the Republican side so we talk about the number of volunteers in voter contacts that we -- If we're doing our job in getting these folks out.
Then absolutely this is a good -- the the Obama side did a really good job of touting their early -- numbers but they cannibalize.
What what's referred -- as a high propensity voters those people who normally would have voted on Election Day Republican voters tend to vote on Election Day to begin with.
For our early vote numbers came from low propensity money we spend our time and effort getting those folks who are less likely to vote really out there to vote.
And knowing that our our high propensity voters would do what they always do we get out there on Election Day says there are guys this is a great scene for us by Sean thank you we -- your democratic counterpart Powell askew in the five seconds we have left.
If your side wins what's the margin.
It's going to be close I.
-- 3% maybe two to 3% I think it's going to be a close election.
But there's no question governor Romney's gonna be electing the next president tonight Sean Spicer thank you for the -- appreciate your time.
