There's been a lot of talk this year about enthusiasm.

Which -- supporters really won the win the most.

And we might not be able to tell a lot about the direction the vote is going in the battleground states but who is showing up to vote things like gender age.

And the makeup of counties in which people live.

We'll find out from both sides exactly what they are looking for for hints.

First the Democrats joining us now is Jen -- the Obama campaign.

Traveling -- hello -- always -- to watch season 6 o'clock this morning it's good to see you here.

It's great to be all right I'm looking at Northern Virginia.

That's that's one of the first thing is gonna give us a sign.

How you look -- in Northern Virginia.

We feel great about Northern Virginia and Virginia as a whole this is a state where.

The Romney team that had clearly in their category and their call on the few weeks ago they were really talking it up -- to -- we absolutely -- can win.

The large turnout numbers turnout among young people -- Americans Latinos those are all good signs for the president and will be looking forward to the polls closing a couple of hours are.

Our young people showing up eighteen to 49 specifically.

You won that.

In a big way by 34%.

Back to back in the last election cycle and you -- We do what young people I think will turn out they are turning out you know it's a lot of anecdotal stories now from different polling locations and and different not counties and were at -- certainly hearing about those -- -- good signs.

Young people have a lot at stake in the selection.

They care about the future of this country who has a better plan for the economy who ended the war in Iraq who ended Don't Ask Don't Tell and that's I think they're gonna come -- for the president -- that I.

-- is real important and it.

From from the democratic standpoint if you win by more than a 100000 votes -- the provisional ballots aren't quite as important and it might not be a long drawn out process.

What are you hearing out of the state of Ohio.

We're hearing good things you know we're hearing about long lines are encouraging people to stay in line wait in -- we know maybe a couple of hours but the stakes are high if you're still in -- -- the polls close stay in line.

I look this is a state that Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan have never been able to -- their message to the middle class voters in this state just isn't working they went back there today.

Kind of -- the last detail -- effort but -- -- confident that the people of Ohio will remember that the presidency the auto industry he's the one who's got the manufacturing sector recover and they're gonna send him back for another.

-- yes they might say Joseph Biden's a last ditch effort is well I mean it's not as if he didn't go there he did.

It -- -- is very important there's no question about that that's why we have the vice president there today.

-- we've been consistently leading in polls we have more than a 130 apps across the state.

We are leading an early vote and we're hearing good things on the ground so we feel great about Ohio planet in -- -- they were looking for -- -- -- kind of -- later tonight.

Republicans insist that that -- under estimated the enthusiasm for the Romney campaign in the waning days.

Of this and that that's how they're gonna make it up concern.

Well we'll see I know I expect that they'll be called on their laps later this evening in terms of their secret internal -- then what they say about their enthusiasm.

We -- the president has seen hundreds of thousands of people over the past couple of days people are excited to vote.

Get engaged in the process we know this race is -- be -- never underestimated.

Governor Romney and that's why weren't you know out here pounding the -- -- the polls close.

Inside you you should be exhausted what what why -- you still still gone and ninety miles an hour.

Fake it tell you may get that and I'm not out -- there isn't it inside you from the Obama can't live in Chicago Jen thanks very much we'll talk to you later thank you -- all right.
