President Obama ask voters for another four years and they gave it to him by a majority.

But what should you expect in the president's second term Fox News legal analyst Peter Johnson G has been thinking about things that happen yeah.

I guess -- -- a -- last night you know I think as a patriotic obligation of all Americans.

To understand that a second term means a second chance that it doesn't mean giving up first principles.

But it also means really that.

In terms of going forward for the people who didn't vote for the president and that is almost a commutation.

There's almost a pardon for past sins through past disagreements we we say yeah we're gonna pull together.

The real issue becomes will the president come across the aisle and will the president appealed to that 48 of 49%.

Of the American people.

Who strongly disagree with him and voted against him in in in high high numbers out yesterday the president has made a lot of promises.

Cutting the deficit.

Cutting the cost of tuition reducing foreign oil imports by 50%.

Solving the tax begin solving the fiscal cliff insuring their defense expenditures -- cut.

In half and make it's really week week the super power.

So there's an obligation that's conferred on -- on the president to bring us together and he talked about the American people.

As being a -- last night.

We are on American family and we rise or fall together.

For the United States of America.

The best is yet to come.

He says that he's listened and he's learned and that he's been inspired and he's determined to reach across the -- -- -- there is a great burden and -- -- great obligation.

On him.

To perform when they are so many people hurting in this country seven point 9% unemployment but at the same time.

There's an obligation -- people who disagreed with him in the past including me and many others in this country.

Who share the same views that I do.

To give him the opportunity to lead and leadership means consensus.

And compromise -- and understanding what other people are thinking.

Well -- Peter I I get your point on family but keep in mind his campaign relentlessly tried to divide Americans for eighteen months and as people wake up.

We know that we've got big price isn't right to do something about.

It's still people are people are a little -- it's always -- more than the campaign.

It it was almost four years of of of division and and class warfare.

We need to hope.

And pray.

That the president understands now.

That that policy is divisive and that policies destructive to the future of the United States but this stay right on.

All of us need to pull together and say.

This is our president the electorate has spoken.

Will give them an opportunity to leave because we don't give an opportunity to lead then we all suffer surely makes mistake.

That's what we need in this country a lot of people are upset disappointed.

But our future is more important than this one election can -- change.
