So good morning again everyone four more years President Obama winning a second term edging governor Mitt Romney -- Frankly some of the -- margins we have seen in the popular vote in some time but President Obama winning word he needed to win.

Taking most of the key battleground states to put him over the top in the Electoral College so after a late night last night.

An early morning this morning we welcome you here -- good morning to America's Newsroom I'm Bill Hemmer.

Can react I -- is that hey you look no worse for the Wear by the way the -- and that I you know I squeezed into -- crash.

Morning -- morning everybody I'm like in the counts of President Obama with 303.

Was the magic number in electoral votes.

Governor Romney at 206.

Although.

That number could change because the results from the battleground of Florida not yet in but of course you need 270 to win.

And the president -- that magic number I -- what time about I love animals so yeah.

His team I'm thinking you know -- thereabouts you promised that the best is yet to come in his administration saying that he is willing to work with Republicans to solve America's problems.

Despite all the frustrations.

Of Washington.

I've never been more hopeful about our future.

Yeah.

No more vocal about a man.

And I ask you to sustain that hope.

I believe we can keep the promise of our -- The idea that if you're willing to work hard.

It doesn't matter who you -- Or where you -- -- run for what you look like.

Or were you love it doesn't matter where -- -- -- -- -- okay.

Yours right.

-- -- -- -- -- -- Chief political correspondent Washington examiner Barbara good morning to -- there in Boston we find you there let's go through this how the president's team put together this winning coalition.

Well he basically reassemble the coalition that he had in 2008.

Did extremely well with the groups and -- done well with before women especially unmarried women.

Blacks Latinos and young people all those groups that number of those groups that that conservatives Republicans had thought would be discouraged this time around and it.

And it would drift away from the president will they didn't drift away.

From the president I know.

In Ohio last week going Obama rallies they were pretty fired up and they showed up on election.

Now for the Romney team here in Boston even talk to the Romney camp.

What are they saying about how and where they came up short.

You know I actually ran into basically Mitt Romney's entire brain trust last night in the bar at the Westin hotel right after the the event and a number of them were pointing the finger at hurricane sandy they said that Romney had momentum prior to that was rising in the polls.

And then afterwards so that momentum was broken and it ended up being tied other Republicans point to the fact that.

Obama had done enormous damage to Mitt Romney with negative ads in Ohio and elsewhere in May June July and August really hurt -- there but.

You know that the the bigger problem here is that there were big issues at stake in this campaign.

To different views of governing higher taxes more regulation more spending and the voters shows President Obama.

Just take a step further because now you go to the issue of governor.

What is the expectation.

This group in Washington now.

Well I I think that.

Obviously President Obama is going to try to use his victory which is pretty narrow.

Popular vote victory but it pretty big.

Electoral College victory.

To -- agenda specifically to raise taxes on higher income Americans I do not see Republicans wanting to give in on that.

At all.

So I think this despite this coming up for the fiscal cliff is going to be relatively unchanged.

I think that you know here here if you look at what we've have we've had this election.

President Obama still going to be president.

John Boehner still going to be speaker of the house and Harry Reid still going to be the senate majority leader who is gonna change there are no -- say thank you -- C -- new -- assume Byron -- they're reporting leading I don't know today from.

Boston Massachusetts --
