Self -- again some people on the East Coast still struggling to recover from severe storms sandy.

Heavy rain and winds and even snow forcing mandatory evacuation orders along none other than parts of the Jersey Shore which has been battered.

All around the metro area city airports so what can we expect as a result of this storm which -- called clean -- Meteorologist Maria Molina is joining us now from the Fox News extreme weather center hi Maria.
-- -- good to see you and that's right we're content might get another storm impacting portions of the northeast.
As we head into basically the week after sandy made landfall across -- -- Causing so much damage -- wouldn't expect pretty strong winds from the storm gusted to fifty to sixty miles per hour specially along coastal areas.
And the storm is going to be ramping up as we head into tonight and also into early tomorrow morning -- unit continued icy conditions deteriorating.
Across portions of the northeast places like New Jersey New York City Long Island up in -- parts.
A New England as we -- -- the next 24 hours now this is gonna be a relatively quick mover so we're not talking about such a prolonged period of time.
A rain and also basically strong winds.
Like we did we see Andy but there will be some impacts and like you said withstanding the poverty had many beaches left vulnerable and also many -- trees.
Weekend so we could be seeing more power outages and more trees down and damage as well storm surge as high as four feet.
It's forecast across portions of Long Island the storm should continue to move northward.
And by 6 PM Thursday the center of -- should be off the coast.
The state of Maine we're also expecting very cold rain -- temperatures are here are hovering on the thirties and forties.
As some of that rain will be transitioning over to Snow White -- snow accumulation forecast from portions of Delaware.
Parts and -- eastern Maryland up into portions of New England so again widespread one to three inches forecast.
The reading six inches -- possible for parts of New Jersey.
Portions of New York City up into western Connecticut locally again up to six inches of snow so incredible so.
Martha well everyone -- -- -- worry about that storm surge as it's coming into an area that has been battered down and leveled.
So the concern that the governor -- talking about is that that water will be pushed.
