The opposition party -- opposing party hats understand the voters have spoken and the voters have decided that they want this president to continue his agenda.

Some people may not be happy with it certainly a lot of people are not happy with it.

But the bottom line is that the majority of the people have voiced their opinion and so I hope that congress and his opponents in both congress and outside congress understand.

This is really the will of the American people.

Ryan she's saying a majority but it's a very very slim majority the president's Electoral College vote may have been decisive but the popular vote was a virtual tie -- president.

-- I mean this is a very narrow victory in the popular vote and let's look at the very accurate polling data we had this year I think what the polling data told us does that.

Sure he won a very narrow majority as we said.

But the majority also believes were headed in the wrong direction they also believe the economy is a top issue but they're not sure who to trust.

The plurality of America it doesn't support the health care law.

I mean it this is not a mandate at all and as a state you know we're headed for more gridlock and as Einstein said.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over again and expecting different results well I guess god bless our crazy country and a.

Yeah Julie Democrats controlled the presidency and both houses of congress during president Obama's first two years in office but he's campaigned on this premise that.

Republicans blocked his agenda.

Is that really -- well you know -- -- pesky little thing the senate called the filibuster and quite honestly I have said that furlong time we need to get rid of the filibuster or somehow augmented and I would have said that even if it it McConnell.

-- become the senate majority leader because -- you cannot have.

Of the people that were elected to -- the majority in the senate and that's exactly what we're seeing so good way to get this gridlock to be done is to get rid of the filibuster but it was straight majority votes.

And so be it the house representatives has a majority vote with no filibuster the senate to have the same.

Who would get a lot more data that -- the case Brian president does not gonna be running again this is about his legacy do you see him reaching across the aisle more.

I don't think he's gonna have much of a choice but you know he's been digging in his heels so far so.

If he continues to do that he may have a lot of trouble establishing it -- a good legacy.
