You've probably seen a snow storm that came man on top of the cars that were already piled up like little matchbox cars all over parts of New York.

And we've heard the desperation in the people's voices that we just spoke to -- -- We just put another gentleman who was on the street with an appointment who says that you know is that a two week old baby in a diabetic -- -- -- government's telling me is to leave his home.

Joined -- by governor George attacking former governor work governor always good to have you with us walk on here thing.

Martha and I spend with the and I listened to bill -- -- events and the frustration is just so obvious and you just feel so bad for the people who are going through this.

It is the government doing a -- jobs.

Well I think about they're doing all they could I know I had colleagues from work yesterday out in the rockaway is and I said the city was out there and forests but they saw no sign of FEMA.

And a couple of days earlier a big -- from my office went down the Staten Island and they said they saw no government presence at all.

But all you can do is push the government to do better.

But encourage people not to allow their frustration to become anger.

He took you heard -- and I was impressed that what he is working honest people helping people neighbors helping neighbors.

That's what we have to do and yes you can I can understand getting angry.

But it doesn't help try to help each other and will keep pushing the government to respond as quickly and strongly it's -- The governor you know I mean that the stories that you're hearing and you look at these people huddled around you know a pot of water with candles floating and it and their roof is missing they've got a car in some cases has gone through parts of their house a story just heard from Staten Island.

And then the snow starts coming and as you point out there's no FEMA and you look at these exit polls 42%.

Say that that hurricane -- in the president's handling of it was very important part of their vote.

I now and and it's very frustrating because -- it's frustrating for us that you can imagine what it's like when you're one of those people -- around that little fire.

With an open roof in your house it's just outrageous and all we can do is demand and urged the federal government the state government the city government everyone to do more but that it doesn't help to get angry at this point.

Later on we can figure out what went wrong but right now let's just try to help.

It's indeed.

Are right backed out of the topic that we invite John talk about well let's listen to this sound -- from Herman Cain where he suggests.

That there should be a brand new party out there areas.

We need a third party to save this country this country is in trouble and it is clear.

That need.

Party is going that fix the problem that we -- I don't believe the Republican Party has the ability to rebrand itself.

But -- the mainstream media machine.

That.

That blatantly work to support this president and although the rule -- a lot of the Democrats.

When you think about that's -- Well I love Herman Cain and I understand the frustration again because all of us are angry at Washington that.

For the failure to to really solve any of the big issues facing our country.

But let's look back this was not -- landslide you change less than a quarter of a million votes and he -- states and today works celebrating president elect -- This was not a massacre what was frustrating was the inability to articulate a grand vision as to how we are going to solve these problems.

And that's -- made was the weakness of this campaign we didn't have the specifics so people could say.

This is what they're going to do that and to me the solutions are there Paul Ryan did a tremendous job in the house trying to articulate detailed solutions.

Now we just have to carry forward and try to sell them.

I'll say that he was -- -- -- ADT think that he was -- -- not think that he was under -- is not how can shut all I think what was that what we're I think Paul Ryan was the right -- because he's one of the handful in March than have the courage.

To say we have a serious problem here -- specific solutions to those problems.

But instead of getting credit for that even if you might disagree with that solution he was -- And I think that is certainly can I think is right that the media should have said OK you don't like Paul Ryan and John Boehner plan where's the president's plan.

Where's the Senate's plan and they never did that.

What's the one say -- I have to go what's the one thing that you think that the GOP needs to do if you had one piece of advice what would it make specific ideas as to how we're going to get the economy growing again and deal with the deficit.

George -- thank you very much and thanks for your words of encouragement -- Who are suffering in the state that that you once -- we really hope that -- gonna get some help but listen and -- and -- for that month.
