I think if you are traveler most likely you picked up a lonely planet book.

I always do whenever I travel I picked up one for Greece from my honeymoon when I went to Japan on assignment certainly and they always so helpful.

So welcome.

And thank you for joining us here today.

-- people are really getting in the -- I mean I'm just trying to get to what are we eating for Thanksgiving but people are at a time.

-- thinking about the travel plans for next year.

We'll all we'll -- -- -- in trouble go to Turkey.

And start thinking about -- -- worry about things -- OK I'm not go to Turkey.

Very yeah very good so you've got you guys have put together of course.

You have the highly anticipated annual series which highlights the world's best trends destinations journeys and experiences and for the upcoming year -- has come about that.

It's fun you know a lot of and the house debates and and bickering that we we have a lot of people who have 200 offers.

They're all stems from when we talk about what are what are trends that are happening what are places have been overlooked.

What are places that we think are -- -- really -- maybe they have some big event happening right here.

And so there's a lot of conversations -- like you know Rolling Stone magazine putting together the best album cover all time and all the and house debates that we wanted to be relevant.

We want to predict what we're here we'll go.

-- -- -- So let's talk about the top five countries to visit we have a full screen will put up and you can talk about.

What those top five countries for number one we have Sri Lanka and I think that Sri Lanka is a place.

In the three or four years you're gonna see every luxury man travel magazine put it on the cover but it is time now to go now this is a country that.

Had a civil war that that finished about five or six years ago it's rebounded from that ahead it dealt with the the tsunami and things like that and this is now it's.

It's become stable and safe to go to his rim -- gorgeous beaches there's like a -- NASCAR heritage sites in the size of West Virginia.

There's a great wildlife tons a -- and it's big for its elephants but his big elephant gatherings that they all come in -- -- you see like hundreds of Alabama.

The great national parks and -- like that.

And also really gets to a lot of people are going and learning how to make this Sri Lankan Currie and things like -- so this is a really beautiful place with just untouched beaches lots of wildlife and good food.

Sri Lanka watch out for it go before the crowds when he thirteen.

Okay very how long does it take to get that from what upstate New York on about thirty minutes thirty yeah it's a quick little trip I literally hours.

-- -- Obviously it's a way it's you know south of India so -- to say you know this is going to be a place and we are looking at southeast Asia in general in South Asia this is going to be the next one.

Does that kind of wanted to go to and what -- -- up next.

Well next for Europe and we can Montenegro this is kind of the next of the Riviera is a -- A country about the size of Connecticut very mountainous and has a slice on the beach of Adriatic CC get in it looks -- -- get the sun -- but it's beautiful mountains.

And it has the word that Europe's deepest core issue and people going in -- rafting down there and it's so clean you can just put your cup.

Out of the boat and drink it so Montenegro's interest things we have a new European investment.

You know we will always ask people to participate with our chats here on foxnews.com.

-- got one coming in question from JD -- point.

Can you ask mr.

Reid of Turkey in the Black Sea and Malta are still cheap travel destinations.

And if they are better than perhaps you're more traditional trip flight to Rome or to -- Well I think if you haven't been to Turkey Turkey to me when you go into as simple and walk into the whole bizarre and you see the Blue Mosque and and you walk across the bridge and their.

You know making fish sandwich is that they've done for hundreds of years that you get for a couple dollars and some very inexpensive it is just fascinating to me it's like I true when I have to.

Went to Turkey for the first time in eight years ago.

And to me it was like traveling for the first time account I travel a lot Turkey everyone needs to get there wants that's a fantastic -- great Greek ruins.

Your time I Cristiano there's actually more better preserved creek runs and Turkey -- in -- -- well that's amazing stuff.

-- And we and we want to get to the best value destinations elections specialist has to click off the the country's.

For the top five countries to visit you mentioned to Lanka.

Montenegro and then -- we've got.

What else -- well I talk about South Korea because of side your friends signed gangland style Lotta people are going to south created discover or that song came from.

And gangs is kind of an affluent neighborhood and soul.

You go there and have like -- century monastery is next to new malls as a kind of weird mix of old news for South Korea is really emerging as an outdoor place people love -- tons of golf going on you can go on bike trips along the DMZ.

There's a little tropical on the assault called regime is you change each day you can line with a -- is just stunning that's wherever one goes on honeymoons and and Korea Korea is really becoming an outdoor destination okay.

I was -- -- just got back from Quito Quito was the first -- you -- -- -- world heritage site as a city its colonial they pump 259 dollars and and renovating the city and putting new projects and avenue subway in new airport and it.

Ecuador is in the middle of all these volcanoes but it is the chocolate capital of the world I was going on chocolate -- I'm Tony I I I had no idea of the chocolates are brought tons of chocolate back.

And you know the chocolate farms that are starting these chocolate viewers in this trains up to go to volcanoes.

Beautiful inexpensive.

Ecuador's really -- Speaking of inexpensive let's get to the best value destinations people are always keen to that no that's so what do we -- so here we look at a map that we put on our viewers how to best value destinations that -- -- -- those real quick.

One is to talk about Rio first now -- is not the cheapest place in the world.

That is sometimes the cost can be at York city that's great -- when he thirteen because it's gonna get a lot worse yet the World Cup and 2014.

-- Olympics and 26 team.

All -- development all that demand prices Oregon arise and there are a lot of things he can be -- -- because.

The Fed -- which are kind of like the slums that we've seen like kind of slum tourism.

Those who become increasingly safer he can stay for forty dollars and he's our guest houses and give beautiful views of the waterfront -- you can give him.

-- result it's gonna get more expensive so think about it.

If you want to do it now and we've got Spain on here as well.

Well Spain is great Cambodia's great there's today you know there's a lot of another place of the Bolivia's very inexpensive.

I think that.

To be one -- -- like to talk about.

In particular is Namibia.

And Namibia when -- know that it's a bonus one for your list.

Namibia is the place a lot of people liking to go to and get safaris and Africa and you can spend thousands of dollars in the -- is kind of a secret.

Because you drive up safaris you can rent a car for fifty dollars -- go to.

A national parks you see all these kind of everything can think up rhinos elephants and you can do it all on your own.

And -- -- hundreds as opposed to thousands so Namibia is really rising as the place to go on Africa much cheaper and people are curious about Sweden as well there's a particular region to go to Gothenburg the city in the south you know a lot of people think this can anything too expensive.

Gothenburg has a lot of things you see a lot of this would like.

Kind of the way people are traveling in the city using public transparency -- Bikes and things like that and stand it is really great you can do a lot by just getting around on -- as locals do and eat the seafood is fresh and -- cheaper than you would expect sometimes people might get in New York -- don't wanna overlook.

As a place that you can save money Gothenburg in particular instance we can.

That's all we do have to -- been -- and encourage people to go to what's sexist really clicks and you had a lot of other finalists are -- -- come on this just really quickly -- unlucky -- place to travel I don't ask don't worry that other.

-- -- -- -- -- And I desperately trying to find out why it's called unlucky and I talked to a local there and they don't know.

And they also said by the way it's really hard to get there so unlucky is a lucky because no one -- -- -- man that's hard and for me it is famous because particularly like on the sixties and seven is there's a number of accidents I think that now it's safe but has that -- -- being very unlucky.

And then you look at a place like tower wanted somebody people got.

Their heads chopped off in tower one and you can go and take those tumors that would be fears there and hopefully come away and off with all -- -- really top.

Today I rabbits but your pocket because of the places to go -- -- live chat.

Before -- can you read this I sent in a check for you what about China.

What about China well you know the funny thing is.

There's somebody different things happening in China in.

In Beijing -- since the Olympics what's happened is yet these are districts that are starting and it's kind of an underground scene with hearts and in Indian music that are happening in different parts of China -- neighborhoods.

Invasion and it's -- town.

Oh gosh I've forgotten sons who I have to use my cheat -- because they can't pronounce I wanna get it right palms out okay this is the number one place for biking in the country in the in the world and terms of the numbers of bikes.

She can use -- public use bikes and all the bike -- this is just south of Shanghai city a lot of people don't know about -- going -- think about doing that and travel along with all the locals on bikes.

Now just like everybody else watching right now these are fantastic tips and I'm thinking to myself okay what did you say -- remember everything the people can find these lists lack.

Lonely planet dot com and you were mentioning movies earlier who also wrote about Lincoln on the links -- sites to go.

And I saw the movie last night -- one tired I stayed up to 3 in the morning -- fans estimated.
