Remember the administration try being the Republicans for a so called politicizing.

Foreign affairs over -- -- Well here we have an instant -- -- of them alone in an election five days later.

We hear nothing about until two days after the election.

So either our intelligence agencies in which we spend sixty.

Billion dollars a year to take a week to ascertain of one of -- -- has been shot at or this is an obvious attempt to manipulate information.

And I -- into -- in the election.

That was Charles Krauthammer on special report raising new questions about our breaking story yesterday.

Who make the call to keep a lid on Iran's attempt to take down one of America's drones for political expediency.

-- -- points out the Obama administration wasted no time in leaking details about the navy seal operation that took out bin Laden.

Details that many say should never have been released but serve the administration well.

He can McFarland -- news and national security analyst joins us with some great insights that -- great to -- askew.

Is it fair though to say the Pentagon said yesterday we did release this information before because this was a classified mission.

That sound like a legitimate excuse on its face.

-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- That you know -- -- attack in the US -- in international waters typically an act of war that should've let us now right in the beginning.

How ever you know are we really surprised politicians covering things -- that they don't want you now about.

Politician's brain about things they do want you -- -- about.

You're always surprised this is the politicians are not honorable man actually not a -- and there's a reason and -- good reason.

Why politicians come up as the least favorite and respected people in American.

You know I mean -- there's America's for an -- at all surprised.

This information was purposely withheld from the American public just a couple of days before the election.

What was the -- age that the administration would have been trying to hide that Iran doesn't respect us that they're willing to go after us that we appear weak in the world is that.

Is that the conversation we're talking about.

Yeah I think so but I think it's even if it's a different conversation in addition to that yes Iran is trying to -- a bloody nose.

Just assess our flex our muscle right -- for an American election.

But what they're really trying to do is this is the opening statement.

And what Iran I think perceives any about administration perceives as a -- to be had with Iran.

There's been all chatter in the national security world about is -- -- negotiation at the United States would have with Iran after Obama's reelected.

Is there a deal to be had that would Iran would stop just short.

-- developing nuclear weapons in exchange for normalizing relations with the United States.

A lot of people think about the deal that's going to be have soon the problem with that deal is it leaves Israel out of the equation.

And even though the United States in Iran an Obama administration might come to that kind of a deal forget about the consequences of that deal might have.

Israel isn't gonna necessarily like that deal and if Israel perceives.

That it's been isolated -- it's on -- sound and stopping Iran's nuclear weapons program.

They may do something preemptive strike against Iran.

And while Israel can start that war it can't finish it and that's why -- -- did what it did it wanted to show the United States.

That whatever happens between -- -- and Iran.

Don't -- don't realize you're don't forget the fact that the United States will be drawn into it too I think it was a warning shot from Iran.

Now something the White House has categorically denied is that there's any kind of secret talks going on involving Valerie -- -- very close advisor to the -- president and First Lady.

-- -- -- say it's absolutely not happening and happening this isn't the first time we've heard a report along these lines and what's what's your sense.

I says is we probably are yeah maybe not directly negotiating with Iran.

But there are there have been suggestions that the United States and Iraq are looking into.

Some kind of diplomacy.

Of the things President Obama did when he was elected the first time.

One of his first statements as.

We reach out the hand of friendship to Iran.

If they would only on clinch their fifth the Obama administration has from the very begin in four years ago so they want to diplomatic solution to.

The situation with Iran look nobody wants a war with Iran Iran doesn't want war we're past we don't want a war with Iran.

The question is is there a way of stopping Iran's nuclear program.

-- -- short of a war and I think that's the big question not just for the United States but for Israel.

Well and you mention Israel would be possibly willing to engage in a preemptive strike it's something that we have to talk about and consider all the time.

Do you think the president Obama's reelection makes than any closer to that war of further away.

Well I think this is a problem they might get out -- support relationship that President Obama hasn't a second term.

Is going to be with Israel.

You know the United States in this -- may not have -- -- Iran has the same threat Israel looks at Iran.

And Iran which is about to get nuclear weapons and Iran which says with -- nuclear weapons they would destroy Israel.

Israel as the sons and daughters and grandchildren of holocaust -- writers.

They cannot ignore that threat so they -- it very differently than we might do it and if there is daylight between the United States and Iran if Iran is -- organized business -- -- successful.

And driving a wedge between the two.

Then I think it makes what's in the Middle East more likely what President Obama should be doing.

It's going to Israel saying we are going to be with you on as we are gonna work together to make sure Iran doesn't threaten Israel or the United States but not particularly -- -- -- T McFarland always great to see you thank you so much thank you.

Leery.
