Do you have any concerns about the fact that congress didn't know more about what was going on.

With respect to general protect Petraeus the FBI investigating this CIA on do you have any concerns about how that played out that you didn't know more about it well if.

It you know there's a matter here that's between.

And the national security implications people might want to get into I'm more concerned about what had happened in Libya.

And what happened when General Petraeus was in charge of the CIA in Libya that's what I'm concerned about because worried about -- ready for people who died.

We actually for Americans to do you worry that his inability or or the fact that he probably is not official of these hearings this week -- -- may hear from him in the future -- have to subpoena hand.

Are you -- -- -- missing from these three different hearings this week is gonna have an impact on what you can find out that's a problem and here's why look.

I don't.

Frankly personally I don't care about having hearings about his affair.

What I do care about is that he -- -- testify about what happened in -- dossier we need to know that he was ahead of the CIA at that time.

I think they could restricted that they don't get into the affair that that if you want to look at that later it's their business but frankly I think the top priority has to be white if more Americans die.

And why and and frank and you know there's another thing.

Why -- we in the -- the in the first place we should never been there.

And that's you know that's a deeper policy question unfortunately which was ignored in the 2012 presidential campaign.

Not something -- was -- -- that front.

A congressman chase it's again -- most Americans probably would say they don't really care about General Petraeus is affair except for the fact that if in any -- it could have been impacted his exposure and national security.

But I'm sure that you like many others are much more in the immediate future worried about what happened to those four Americans -- lost.

Why -- in no more going in and what we've learned cents.

Well I am very concerned about what happened or didn't happen with this affair this is the head of this CIA for goodness sake.

Of course we need to know what the FBI knew what did they know what what -- they briefed the president.

If -- if we have the head of the CIA who is potentially compromise.

I would think and hope that that would go to the president of the United States as soon as possible.

And then the question -- so suspicious I -- comes days after the election.

And then I you know but days after the election and -- days before he's supposed to testify about the very least -- he should.

Absolutely testified this week there is no reason no excuse not to have and continue to testify this this week.

And it kind of I -- -- -- I agree with that kind of situations he should be testifying and I would say.

That it it ought to be related to what's happening in the -- do you also think the timing of how this played out.

Is suspicious as sister holly bush I mean it's second to high -- factor here.

You know a few days before exposed to testify all of a sudden he's out.

Obviously there were some control over the timing here.

So he had to leave before it was supposed to go before congress I don't know I mean that doesn't that doesn't look right it doesn't -- right anybody who watches and in Washington.

Understands that when a top person gets pushed out of -- a few days before congressional hearing.

That's the reason for congress to call that person and -- answer questions about what happened in -- -- And how we're for Americans are killed as a result and what role does -- CIA play.

Concert tickets will use subpoena -- will the -- subpoena him if necessary General Petraeus.

Potentially I have spoken with chairman that paralyzed of their in the oversight committee we thought we'd give it just the day or -- you -- play out here will will convene.

Monday Tuesday and make some determination is there but I think it's imperative that the General Petraeus testify -- like it to happen this week within the intelligence.

Committees that if we need to bring him before oversight I think that's a distinct possibility.

Do you think that the acting director.

-- morale will be able to give you the answers that you -- do you think there are things that only specifically General Petraeus would be able to have the authority to speak to at this point.

Well look I think I wanna hear from everybody I think it's imperative to hear from both I also wanna hear from Secretary Clinton I wanna hear from ambassador rice and how she made those.

Statements time after time after time and who briefed her there's so much to know what led up to -- why didn't -- respond well we are bombed the -- terrorist attack on June 6.

What went down when the the incident happened because the president said his very first thing was to make sure that everybody.

Was taking care of and safe and expect that didn't happen we know that it based on the time lines and and what didn't happen there.

In big godsey and then also afterwards in the aftermath why why did this administration continue to mislead the American people and the world.

About something that they knew was bogus from the beginning.

Well you're both nodding your heads in agreement so it's nice to see bipartisan agreement that there's a whole lot more to -- story you -- we'll keep digging through these hearings and elsewhere will be right there with you so gentlemen thank you both for your work on -- and you're coming out.
