Our service and sacrifice is still not.

But you look at that photo and you get it because you have the smile on your -- you got a lot of perspective and that's all you need to tell by looking at that photo you've got resolved in perspective and it's changing right for women of the military Jessica.

-- in this changing things that as time is going and we're getting more recognition.

And tell us about your story lions in the Marine -- in 2001 right after high school and I was in boot camp when the twenty hours ahead.

And done shortly after in 2004 had to play -- -- in a mortuary affairs content.

It was our job to recover and process -- -- loss of life in Iraq.

And bring them back.

-- can only imagine.

I'm rob is this book -- -- put together is beautiful portraits of service we -- just looking through at the pictures are so poignant and really tell a story tell us.

What you experience all that together.

This has been an awesome experience.

My co author Andrew and I who is actually British foreign -- Germany is a part of the patent foundation.

And him and I wanted to captivate and understand a lot more in depth -- what veterans go through.

So the book itself was actually designed to take a very short story.

And a beautiful picture so that people can become enthralled engaged in the actual book in this story but quickly go to the next one to give them.

More of a snapshot of what -- people go through.

It is so compelling now again here's the cover but.

Just one photo flipping through it really caught me in the caption sometimes words cannot describe what a soldier visiting a military cemetery.

Is seeing and feeling and you really do capture that.

Really without saying a word right.

Exactly what we tried to do in the book was to take a subset of her pictures when we interview a veteran.

We shoot maybe 15100 pictures while they're talking so we actually captivate and photograph.

And capture their expression while they're saying their story just quite -- usually it's him.

-- -- of -- everybody and Jesse should say that you have turned your hardship.

Into great.

Action where you founded a nonprofit agency the final salute which provides housing for homeless female veterans and their children that's so important.
